The double sided adhesive tape that came along with the product is of a bad quality. However the product itself to lock is good but without a strong adhesive it seems useless.

Some say “child proof”, I say “cat proof”
My cats sometimes open the mini fridge door when they jump off, sometimes I catch it in time, but it’s hard to shut the fridge when you’re not home. These adhesive fridge locks are incredibly effective and easy to install without accidentally misaligning them and the adhesive is holding up well. They’re quite user-friendly, even one-handed, and the green color adds a nice pop of color.Now I just have to figure out what to do with the other 4!

The adhesive is still sticking after more then a year of use…
The door on my upright deepfreeze was left ajar and there was a significant amount of frozen food lost. I got these as a way to ensure that the freezer doors are properly closed every time. To my amazement, the adhesive is sticking firmly, even though they are under some stress when the freezer doors just close each time. The doors are properly closed each time now as well. So I’m really happy with these.
