This was one of my favorite items. I hang out sheets in the summertime and they keep my sheets from dragging on the lawn.

I bought this product to prop up my laundry line outside in my back yard. I'm not too happy with it, because you're supposed to be able to extend the pole to the height you want, raising your laundry line up higher.. But as soon as you put your wet laundry on the line, the pole falls down which causes my laundry line to go down and therefore my laundry gets closer to the ground. I thought buying this pole would eliminate that problem. But it didn't seem to work.

I was slightly nervous to buy this product based on the mixed reviews. That said, I was pleasantly surprised that a $9 product made of plastic is actually doing it's job and working well. I hang 99% of our clothes/linens/etc. on the line outside during the warmer warmer months (live in a heavy snow area for winter) and this line prop is doing a fine job. I appreciate the tip at the end of the pole to press into the lawn (aerates my lawn, too? LOL) as it secures the pole in place. I also appreciate the telescopic feature, although I will agree with previous reviews that it can "slip" when the line load is too heavy (towels/blankets etc). Overall, I would buy this product again and would recommend to a friend.

So disappointed with this. On first use the pole didn't grip the washing line correctly and fell, resulting in the head coming away from the actual pole. Getting it back on was quite a challenge and I used superglue to hold it in place. The twist mechanism to extend the pole is badly designed and that too does not stay in place. As a consequence the pole retracts which resulted in my clean sheets skimming the ground. These poles are not easy to find and there is little choice in manufacturer. Just wish I had brought a few with me when I moved to the USA from England.

Sturdy, lasts, easy to use. Have used for 5 years, just does the job. Saw other posts with less stars...maybe I just got a good one. Works for me though. Bought a different one from Amazon at same time. It was made of thin, ridged aluminum. It worked well, but just stepped on it and flattened metal. Not as robust as this one. Did splint it with wood lathe and Gorilla tape. Back in action. Both worked and happy to get 5 + years out of them.

These are very sturdy props with a small spike on thebottom to grip the soil and a catch on top for the clothesline so they don't fall to the ground. They will slide on the line if clothes are not pinned on either side of them. They telescope so the height can be adjusted. They are a lot heavier than my old aluminum ones that are now all bent up. I liked these so much that I sent for a pair for my daughter as well. Good product!

Can't find supperlatives or excess praise for this, it does its job perfectly and is well made. Easy to use. Arrived with zip tied product packaging cut and fallen at the bottom of the box but product looked new/unused. Only issue I ran into is that it can be a little hard to tighten in the center and so can slip down in length if not really tight. Great product, thats all I can say.

I looked everywhere for one of these clothes line props to use with our retractable laundry line. This one is great. It is light weight but doesn't blow down as the piece where it attaches to the line hooks round well. I was concerned from the pictures that I would have to leave it attached to the line, but that's not the case. Also once you adjust it to the length you want, it holds firm and doesn't slide back down to a shorter size (I have had that in happen in the past with other types, and had to duck tape them in position).

Was wary about ordering something online, but was very surprised. Clothesline Prop arrived quickly and was easy to use. An excellent value for the money and would recommend highly site and product.

Looks nice, and I like the pointy end that grips the grass. It has slipped a little when the kids were putting it up and it was excessively tight and hard to loosen to readjust so I couldn't see why it would have slipped. It seems to hold its position in the wind with a load of heavy towels just fine.
