I was a Cuttlebug owner. I up graded to this 8 months ago ( I waited to write the review so I could give an accurate one) I love it. One of the main reasons I wanted it was the self healing mat for cutting dies and the adjustable dial instead of multiple plate stacking. I was tired of buying the Cuttlebug plates and was having a hard time finding them. My machine has had heavy use and the mats are still going strong. The adjustable die allows you to choose to make a deep emboss or a light one depending on that you want the outcome to be or what material you are embossing. I also got the magnetic mat for spellbinder dies and now I can run 4 or 5 through it in one shot with out them moving. For embossing or die cutting I highly recommend this item. I have had no issues with it. I will be buying the motor for it next. Just so I can have it, not that it needs it. The over all quality is just as good as the Cuttlebug but the suction to the table and the non-slip handle and turn crank make it better than the Cuttlebug. I don't know why this product would get anything less than 5 stars. It is a great product at a great price.

Die Cutting: Evolution vs Cuttlebug
As a hobbyist who makes greeting cards using stamps and dies, an embossing/cutting machine is essential. I have used Provocraft’s Cuttlebug for years but they have discontinued producing the Cuttlebug and therefore its component cutting pads, a great disappointment, so I had to find a new product. The Evolution does a very good job once you have figured out what pressure setting is needed. Having an adjustment built into the machine is much easier than having to use shims. My only concern with this product is that I have been unable to find out how or where I can replace the “self-healing” cutting mat. It does self heal in that the cut marks do not collect paper bits or dust, but it does become very warped. It takes practice to flip the cutting mat once you have placed the dies on your paper to have the cutting side facing upwards since, unlike the plates used in other machines, this plate is not transparent. Once the cutting mat is warped, this flipping is more challenging. All in all, it is an excellent product, slightly more bulky than the Cuttlebug, but solid and, best of all, adjustable. An attachable motor is also available if one wishes to upgrade from using a crank (which is removable and can be stored inside the machine itself).

Love, Love, Love it!
I LOVE this machine! No sandwiches, no guess work. It's easy and fun to use. The only thing is - I wish it would take 7" wide paper. I make 5 x 7 inch cards and it would be SO helpful if I could just run the card through instead of having to run a separate piece of card stock. I do a lot with embossing folders and this would save me a lot of time and paper. But overall, it is a wonderful machine. Great cuts! Easy! Can't ask for much more

Light-weight, compact for easy storage, easy to use, no complicated 'sandwich' combo's to learn.
I wish I'd known about these die cutters a couple of years ago - I could have saved myself a small fortune. I think I own about 75% of all the different die cutters on the market but the WRMK Evolution Advance beats them all hands down for versatility and ease of use. No more wondering what mat goes with what and how many shims to emboss or die cut or whatever. And making the B mat from self-healing material is pure genius. No more scarred, curling plates. Best little die cutter on the market in my opinion, and the lightest too.

OMG I Love it!
Absolutely Love this little machine!, it cuts and embosses beautifully!, Very easy to crank, Love that it suctions to the table, & folds up for easy storage, can use ANY dies in it, and the BEST part is only having to use the Platform & 1 Mat B, GENIUS! & the fact that you can add a motor to it is AWESOME! The only drawback for me is a small one - they should have a decent settings guide included in the box, people shouldn't have to go searching the internet to find settings that worked for other people....As for some reviewers who complained about their B Mat warping right away - Jeez people, Turn the Mat over & use the other side!, I flip my mat over all the time - it's still straight..... for the others that complained about their dies cutting into there B Mat, who cares!, That first cut into a new mat is the hardest, It's gonna happen - happened to me the very first time I tried the machine out....now it's got lots of cut marks in it on BOTH sides, it still works the same.....I figure when it gets soooo bad I can't stand it, I'll toss it and buy a new one, but that won't be for a long time yet.....

... embossing machine on Pinterest and YouTube and am so pleased I bought it
I saw this die cutting and embossing machine on Pinterest and YouTube and am so pleased I bought it. It is very well designed as that you don't need different plates for cutting and embossing. You adjust the pressure of the roll by turning a dial which ever way you want. The platform plates are big enough to lay your dies down for what you want. The suction of the machine once you set it up is very good and the machine doesn't move at all. It feels very sturdy and is quality. It is a reasonable price and arrived within the time given. I would recommend this seller

Super little machine.
Super little die cutter & embossed. I have a big machine but this is so neat and compact. The suckers underneath attach to the workbench ensuring that there is no movement when using the machine. Absolutely love it.

Warping Make it Annoying but Still Usable
So far it’s been working well. The dial is harder to turn than I had expected but that could be because I use it on the floor. The suction isn’t the greatest but it’s not a big deal since I can just hold the handle. It cuts well and the embossing mat is great. I haven’t had any issues with that stuff honestly. The most annoying part is really the warping on the cutting mat. I’ve tried to not keep things in the same position too often and using both sides but the warping is still really bad. Now, it doesn’t have that big effect on my ability to use it, and least not yet. But I do sometimes have to push it down so it’ll go into the machine as it’s basically now curved slightly so the middle sticks out. Annoying but not unusable.
