ALL MY SON NEEDS FOR MUSIC ADVANCED GCSE

Music GCSE studying for their first mocks here! It focuses on case studies more than the actual content of the course. For example, they will take a song of that genre and analyse it like an 8 mark question. It's useful in that sense - you can use it as a guide on how to write them. But in terms of key terms and key characteristics of an area of study, it doesn't help. Get the revision guide version of this book instead.

Good guide. What more to say? I still think they're a complete rip-off at almost £20 but don't seem to be available elsewhere for less.

It's possible that this might be useful, but there are so many pages missing the print they're supposed to have that it's pretty useless. I'm hoping this is a one off and have ordered another, but the quality control isn't exactly inspiring, and that's ignoring the fact that it hasn't been updated for the new set works...

This is a great book, if not a a little overpriced! I would have rathered questions throughout the book to help embed information especially as there are no past papers available yet to see how questions are set. Looking forward to Rhinegold revising this publication with questions added and not just for study pieces.
