This building gel cannot be used to build the proper nail architecture, as it does not harden even in a 125W LED lamp. I suppose it can be used only as a camouflage base in a sheer thin layer, but in this case it results in an uneven color and a transparent perimeter of the nail.

Love this Builder in a Bottle! The consistency and viscosity is perfect! Goes on thick and stays thick where you want it thick like the arch and smooths beautifully and evenly to the nail walls. Self levels beautifully, especially when finger is held upside down to pull it into a perfect arch on top. Can touch up shape with brush and it self levels at a speed that is easy to work with and not too rushed or too slow. Viscosity is slow enough that you aren’t rushing to avoid cuticle flooding but I still do a flash cure under the light before moving on to the next finger with each finger to set the perfect level and arch, then cure the whole hand for the full time at the end. I apply a nail dehydrator, then a primer and skip base coat under the BIAB. I apply gel colour directly on top without wiping the inhabiting layer off so that acts as the tacky base top top so no base required above or below this product. I have both Clear and Cover Pink. I prefer the Cover Pink for it’s consistency and how it is a beautiful neutral all on its own but also a nice base colour for gel colour on top (it hides any nailed imperfections/drill marks etc). Super happy with this product!

I had heard that their white builder gels that come in the pots (hard gel) took longer to cure hard than other brands. I prefer builders in a bottle anyway and decided to try this. When doing an ombre it took twice as long to cure the white than the pink. It is a nice milky white, if you like that, and it could work well as a full overlay, but I wouldn't use it for French or ombre, not just because of the curing aspect but because it also self levels too quickly for that.
