Supa 5, Men’s Trekking & Hiking Shoes

These are very comfortable walking shoes/trainers. Note that they aren't waterproof (nor advertised as such).They offer decent foot support and good grip.Like all Karrimor items they're well made and should last a decent amount of time.Very happy with purchase - and very quick (next day) delivery by Royal Mail.

I have just reviewed my earlier purchase of Karrimore Bodmin IV walking shoes so I am able to compare directly against these Karrimore Supa 5 versions.Both styles are excellent VFM shoes from Karrimore, and I'm delighted with the comfort and fit of the Supa 5 with the following caveat:These Supa 5 styles are definitely a lot tighter on the fit.I had ordered UK 10 of both styles and that's what was delivered, Bodmin IV fit perfectly with walking socks (which are a must if you intend to walk trails or hills in any boots). The Supa 5 do not allow walking socks to be worn and when compared directly there is at between 5 and 10 mm of difference on shoe length when compared sole to sole, that's easily a half to a whole size down on fit (i.e the Supa 5 is nearer to a UK 9 than a UK 10 - Maybe the chinese manufacturer picks and chooses which of the Karrimore walking shoes have an allowance for walking socks!!!)Having said that, I am getting away with using (much thinner) trainer socks as I intend to use the Supa 5 for general walking and cycling, where the trainer socks are adequate for comfort. If you intend to buy these for Hill/Mountain walking, or even trails for extended distances, then I STRONGLY recommend at least a half size increase and you might be best to seek out a store stockist to try them out first and save yourself the bother of guessing and having to return and re-order.IF you doubt this then take a careful look at the Supa 5 toe cap shape when compared against the Bodmin IV and you will see the latter is a higher profile and bulkier around this area, which means you have the much needed space for walking socks which is miissing on the Supa 5.There is no use in expecting a detailed explanation of the fit of any walking shoes, nor is it fair to expect one given the feet are seldom exactly symmetrical and vary in width, height and shape too between individuals, however, it is fair that sellers warn potential purchasers of style variations which could affect the fit!!!, That seems to be at least a part of the problem I have found, however, I'm not totally convinced,given the sole to sole comparison which must contribute as much to the fit as the style. Get the choice of fit spot on and these are great shoes at a great price!!

Made my walks a hell of a lot easier and more comfortable! Looks decent and is a reputable brand with good quality.

Really nice to walk in. Very comfortable. Got fed up going through the soles of my trainers. These should last a while.

Excellent value. Good size so ok for thick socks.

Basic hiking-style shoe but personally I've only worn them for general everyday use, and I've not used them for any serious hiking for which they are insufficiently well made. The insoles offer very little cushioning and after a while became lumpy and uncomfortable, partly solved by fitting thicker insoles. The uppers are porous (for breathability) so not fully waterproof as advertised. I've owned them for 16 months, the outer soles are wearing down and are noticeably less grippy in the wet than when new. I suspect the soles will crack soon whereupon they will be thrown out. I guess I've had reasonable wear out of them, but I've worn other similar shoes in the past at around this price point (taking inflation into account) and some lasted appreciably longer. Overall verdict - average for the price paid.

The shoes appear to be good quality and durable at first glance but was unable to try them out as they were too small. I have other Karrimor footwear and they are sized perfectly but these were crushing my toes.

C’est la 1ère fois que j’achète des chaussures de cette marque que je ne connaissais pas et je ne suis pas du tout déçu.J’avais que des chaussures Merrell depuis plusieurs années mais leur qualité légendaire a changé et elles ne sont plus les chaussures de randonnée résistantes de référence comme avant.Ces chaussures sont légères,bien travaillées,bien finies,souples pendant la marche et protègent bien le pied en terrain accidenté.Très content d’avoir acquis ces chaussures de bonne qualité que je conseille à tous ceux qui sont comme moi randonneurs et qui aiment avoir des chaussures qui conviennent mieux à cette pratique.

Wohl sehr breit aber sonst ein Super Schuh

I bought these for low impact outdoor use. They are the perfect shoe for casual day hikes. Good support and very comfortable to wear. Nice to have an outdoor shoe that does not require a break-in period.

44 numara aldım 28.5cm'ye denk geliyormuş. Beden tablosu olmadığı için emin olamamıştım. Diğer markarlarda 44-44.5 civarı giyiyorum. 28 cm civarı olanlar uygun geliyor. Bu biraz bol geldi, o sebeple iade ettim. Çok sağlam duruyor. Tercih edilebilir.
