Howard Restor-A-Finish Neutral RF1008 Restore the Original Finish on Wooden Furniture 236ml

I never review things but I thought I would this time as I can’t believe how effective this was..! I thought I would have to sand and lacquer our mid century sideboard as it had loads of watermarks and water damage, but I applied a coat of this and it was as good as new ! Took all of 5 minutes..We were staring at it for ages, couldn’t believe it had worked so well! 100% recommend!

This is a good product for real wood furniture. It helps to protect and prolong the life of wood. The finish is long lasting.

Very good results on the small variety of different coloured items that I used it on.

I don't do many reviews but thought I had to purely as a thank you. I had a bit of a salad dressing disaster on an open pore beech table (salad dressing in tupperware... open the top... bit of a slip of the hand.... salad dressing explosion)... i nearly cried as I watched the nightmarish mix of olive oil and red wine vinegar soak into the table being almost powerless to do anything about it (I tried three or four different methods to clean... nothing worked).... I thought the table was ruined... or at least I would have to live with the new explosive pattern I'd created.... A couple days later I tried restor-a-finish as a last resort... It worked amazingly well... My table actually looks better than it did originally believe it or not... sure the finish has become a bit darker as a result... but there are no oil stains and the table looks as good as new. Thank you very much indeed.

This is basically a very expensive tin of Naptha with maybe mineral oil + additive ! Removes safely any residue / grime / marks leaving wood surface ready for polishing

I bought a misused solid oak table and sideboard that had watermarks, bluetac and sellotape residue on it, this all came off with only the minimum of effort using a soft cloth and a very fine wire wool on the worst parts, I did apply a wax afterwards because there was a heat mark that was pale and needed evening up, but now the table looks amazing. I took the table outside (with difficulty) but I did the sideboard inside with Windows/doors open and I didn't have a problem with the fumes.

Ich verwende es für unseren Küchentisch und bin begeistert. Es entfernt so ziemlich alles an Verschmutzungen und Ränder, es reizt die Atemwege, deswegen bitte Acht geben. Im Anschluss wachse ich den Tisch und er sieht für lange Zeit wieder wie neu aus. Auch beim Aufarbeiten alter Möbel ist dieser Reiniger zu empfehlen. Ich säubere damit jegliches Holz und nach kurzer Trocknungszeit sieht das Holz fast aus, wie neu und kann weiterbehandelt werden. Fettrückstände werden komplett entfernt, z.B. durch das häufige Öffnen und Schließen mit bloßen Händen/Fettfingern, die schwarzen Fettrückstände werden mit dieser Reinigung komplett entfernt; einfach gigantisch. Auch Wasserränder auf Holz habe ich damit schon beseitigen können. Sie kommen nach längerer Zeit leicht wieder zum Vorschein, einfach die Behandlung wiederholen und fertig. Ich bin begeistert!

Dieses Produkt hat mir viel Arbeit erspart, weil die Auffrischung der Oberfläche eine vollständige Restauration ersetzt hat.

Excelente producto, quedan los muebles y/o puertas como nuevos… voy a comprar otro…
