BOSCH TDS8040GB Serie 8 ProHygienic Steam Generator, 2400 W, 7 Bar, White/Purple

I have always used Bosch steam generator irons, but this is a great iron due to its high steam pressure power. It makes ironing simple and enjoyable since you do not waste time. If set in i-Temp, I can vitally iron all types of fabrics, so have not got time to test all the other settings. Big water container, so you do not have to refill regularly. It is smart, fairly portable, and although it shook my bank balance, It is worthy.BTW have not been paid by Bosch:-o

Bought this to replace a previous Bosch steam generator. It is I think quite expensive however I am hopeful that it will be good value for money and has a number of improved features from my previous one. Firstly it is lighter to carry than my old one and the lock for keeping the iron in place is better than the clip on the previous one. I like that the iron can be stood on its heel so that I can still put the water tank etc on the floor out of the way. Irons well and efficiently. Another improvement from my previous one is the position of the stopper for cleaning the iron which is much easier to access than on the underneath. Time will tell of course as this is a relatively new purchase but pleased with the performance so far.

WOW.I don’t usually leave reviews but, wow. My iron arrived earlier, I’ve unpacked it and literally ploughed through all my ironing!What a beast! How effortlessly it glides through everything!I did a lot of research before buying this as it’s a lot of money to spend on an iron, but my goodness, when you add up the hours and hours you spend in your life struggling through cotton shirts, cotton bedding etc sweating and cursing - it’s worth having a decent machine to really help you.I wish I’d got this years ago. Marvellous.

This is a big bit of kit but I was looking for a steam generator iron that would reduce my ironing time with school uniform back in the mix! This delivers it is quick and responsive. My only criticisms of it are the water container is awkward to fill and empty I worry about making sure all the water is out to avoid a damp smell. I have found using a measuring jug is the best way to fill it and empty it. I also leave the pourer open to air. The wires are as you would expect quite long but the storage for them on the iron base is limited, which is disappointing. Ideally some sort of internal storage underneath the base unit would work well of wider arm hinges. I’m impressed with the iron so far.

Well..I was losing faith in steam irons after replacing my Tefal steam generating iron that I had for 5 years. I replaced it with another Tefal iron GV9569 , this truly was the biggest load of rubbish I have ever purchased! It cost me over £300 and was the most expensive Iron I had ever purchased.From the moment It arrived it never worked correctly, kept getting multiple steam burst from the single steam button, the steam power was non consistent, sometimes literary no steam would come out the iron, It was total rubbish.After putting up with it for 3 months the final straw was when it blasted a huge amount of brown gunk out of the sole plate all over a designer T-Shirt. French engineering it total garbage and total rubbish from Cars to Steam Irons, they should stick to growing onions! I will never never never buy Tefal again after destroying my T-shirt.So had to choose another steam Iron, the choice was either Phillips Or BOSCH, so pleased I went the Bosch route, had heard phillips irons do not get the HOT!This BOSCH iron is so powerful with steam and so hot! simply love the iron, it makes the Tefal look like a child's toy!Highly recommend this make and model if you require and serious professional grade steam generating iron.WARNING STAY WELL AWAY FROM TEFAL STEAM IRONS! if you cherish your clothes!10/10 for this steam iron

The steam output is very powerful which is great for ironing but be careful for your fingers. Loving the I-Temp setting, no messing around waiting on it heating up for jeans or cooling down for nylon. A replacement for my13yr old Bosch which broke, not disappointed

It's really good and is very easy to work whit it. I'am recommended to people ho is passionate about iron.

Great iron, very powerful, makes ironing a breeze. Steam burst is so powerful you can use it to steam clothes in a vertical position, works great!
