EK Success EKSuccess-1/2 Inch Square Punch, Metal, Grey, 4.54 x 8.68 x 19.14 cm

I bought this punch to mat and layer with the one inch square punch that I bought. It punches cleanly every time and does so even with thick card. It is a true 1 1/4 inch punch and I am very happy with it. It also can be stored closed for easy storage.

received this punch today and very pleased.good strong easy to use and punched the cardboard package to see what weight it can handle and it cut like butter.

This punches beautifully as you would expect from EK. A little pricey but you pay for quality I suppose. I would love a 1 inch and 2 inch punch to go with it.

Very sturdy item, shall use it for punching out templates for miniature patchwork!!

This is my second EK Success punch. I also have a 1/2 inch circle punch. I bought the square punch to help me mass produce some items and save me cutting so many squares by hand. It was coming from the US, so there was a bit of a wait for delivery, but I was happy with that knowing how much time and effort it would save me. However, I'm really disappointed with the quality of the cut. On paper, thin card, and thick card it always leaves slightly ragged edges, particularly noticeable on one edge in particular. In my photos you can see the cut from the 1/2 inch circle punch, which is nice and clean, and then beside it the 1/2 inch square with the slightly torn edges. I think I'll be reverting to cutting by hand with a craft knife.It looks like at least 50% of EK Success punches are good (and they're certainly all built sturdily), but if you're like me, you might end up with one of the duff ones.

EK punches haven't let me down yet! Love how they can be latched closed to make storing them less of a headache too.

Works well, sturdy and does what it says on the tin.

This works really well and will be used for card making. I love that it's space saving.

Actual size of a square was measured along the edges, so the size was exactly right, not like the crappy Recollections Paper Punch I bought from Michaels that cost about the same but was measured diagonally thus the size was inaccurate and didn't have the ability to cut through 1/16" cardboard stock which this punch does without a problem.

Enfin une perforatrice qui perce comme il faut. Très satisfaite...un seul défaut : le coût élevé mais la qualité est là.

Love all EK punches. Did a few reviews on their punches. Cut well. Cut clean, Cut deeper into paper area. Store well.
