Will this amp power my akg k712 pro?

Yes it should do however if your using headphones worth £200 I'd be looking at a higher quality amp than this personally. I'm running Audio Technica MX40's on my Sabaj amp with no issues as a reference for you. This is a very good amp but you may loose range using this with K712's. If your just after a volume boost and a bit of old school valve sound for cheap this amp is excellent for the price.

What is the input on the front right, the downwards arrow inside a circle?

It is a 3.5mm stereo jack input, although I preferred to use the phono connectors on the back of the unit.

Is it only for headphone?

Hello, yes this preamp is designed to be used with headphones. If you are after a similar priced preamp for speakers there is a good one by FX Audio for £40.

Anyway, according to AT the LP60X (sic) has a switchable phono preamplifier, and if that's the case with yours the headphone amp ought to be just fine. You need a line level input, and the unboosted signal direct from a phono cartridge will be far too weak - for that reason you should check the turntable manual before buying, but it looks like it'll be good news.
