Overall, I gotta say I like this. It gives you four steps worth of products for just shy of $60 dollars which honestly, is a pretty good price for what you get, I think. I liked the smell of all the products, most of all the shampoo. It gives a good lather and definitely made my scalp feel squeaky clean. The shower serum was nice, it tingled. Then the conditioner was good quality and the leave on has a nice cooling effect. I liked how my hair looked after using it, it seems to give good hair body, did make my hair look thicker, and gave a nice curl pattern (I have 3C hair). I don't have any issues with this product however, there's a few things to consider. First of all, the ingredients list is one for the ages. Look at the product photos listed by the company, the very last one shows you the back of the box and you'll see how amazingly long the amount of ingredients is. If you're looking for an organic type product, this isn't for you. It has PEGS, it has preservatives, it has maltodextrin (And why?? That seems like a weird ingredient for hair care) and to my slight frustration, it has a lot of alcohol. Like multiple types, which will of course dry your hair. Because of that and the protein in the conditioner, if you buy this, make sure you have a separate leave in that's very hydrating. My other slight confusion is the green capsules that are in the shampoo. You know, the plastic-y beads that used to be in shower gel about 20 years ago but then went out of favor because they were rough on skin and bad for the environment. Well... I can't tell you what these are made out of but they seem to be a similar concept. The ingredients in generally don't get much explanation and honestly, only one of the products has actual directions on the bottle. Despite these reservations, I do like these products and do think that if your scalp is having issues, this might be a good place to start. Just make sure to look over that ingredient list and see if everything in it works for you.

Stopped using it after a week. Thr shampoo made my hair feel terribly dry. Another product on the shelf that I'll eventually toss.

I can't say enough about this product! I've been using it since November 2024, and I like to give the products I use some time. Of course, I have to do my part of being consistent when using products, but my hair was dull and dry, and since using this, it's brought back life to it. I wash my hair daily and use this once a week since I alternate my shampoo/treatment with other Korean hair products.I love the treatment the most. It gives a warm sensation when you put it on the palm of your hand before massaging it on your scalp.Because I travel a lot and do not like to check my bags in at the airport, I love that it has travel-sized.I will repurchase this!

Smells good makes hair soft yet not sure it helps with thickness or growth

Since the day i used to Dr. Groot,i never have problems with dandruff anymore.It nourishes my dry scalp,smell so good, & with nothing but good ingredients for the hair and scalp.i will sure try all products in their line.
