Alta Tactical Superflex Knee Pads Black AltaLok
These kneepads are reeaaally comfortable. I use them to play CQBs and woodsball, and so far they have done the job really well. They have velcro for you to adjust the strap length that goes behind your knee; it's super easy to put on, just take the strap and buckle using the little "pin" you see in the picture, they will stay snug all day long, just adjust them properly (will fit all sizes I guess). This kneepads are also really easy to clean; and will protect your knee perfectly, the part that faces your knee is very cushy and soft, yet, it is thick enough (but adapts to the form of your knee) to give you the necessary protection. The rubber part is also very durable and sturdy so it will last for long. I'm super happy with this purchase; I will probably buy another set.

Great item excellent price, I'm getting more!
Great fit, comfortable durable they don't move, little to no pain at all from straps even when fastened tight. Great price for this item I'll probably get another pair for backups. I work freight at work with cement floors these are perfect.

my knees' new best friend
I've been using these while doing demo and installing a new hardwood floor in my house. What really drew me to this one was the fact that it had a pliable rubber knee. Flooring kneepads I'd seen either had a fabric knee, exposed foam, or a hard plastic knee. I wanted something that would act as an extra shoe so I wouldn't slide around and provide me protection from exposed nail heads I missed or from nails lying around. For that purpose, it does a fantastic job. My knees aren't ripped up and feel loads better than during those first couple days when I didn't have em. If you do want to use these for flooring, I do recommend you pick up the non-marring version. Instead of black rubber, it's a white rubber. Wish I knew about that one when i purchased these. It is a bit difficult to wear these over baggy clothing. But hey, it's not like I wear knee pads often, so what do I know. Through trial and error, it seems if I fold the extra pant leg material over the front of my knee and leave as little as possible where the straps attach, I end up with less behind the knee discomfort and the pads don't slide down. I've gotta admit though, I'm looking forward to taking these on the paintball field too!

Work on your knees like a kid again!
I bought these to save the life of the knees on my Fire Resistant coveralls and they are doing the job. As they say, NOT recommended for "athletic applications" is definitely applicable here. While not ideal for long term kneeling(carpet or tile laying), when you need to kneel down to tend to something at work, they are ideal. They do tend to "walk" down your leg as you move about(hence the 4 star), I have tightened the strap to remedy this but the top strap is elastic and the pad still slides, small annoyance, but tolerable vs. the benefit. I do slide on them as I kneel and they seem to be holding up just fine, clean up is a snap too, a soap and a brush and let them air dry and you're good to go. If you do the occasional kneeling at work and want to save your knees, buy these and kneel like a kid again!

Great All-Purpose Kneepads
I purchased the Alta Superflex Knee Pads with the non-velcro "Altalok" buckle (featured in the photo). The packaging states clearly "not intended for athletic applications", but I could see it being used in outdoor sporting activities (the reason for my initial purchase). After adjusting and wearing them, they are quite comfortable. The disclaimer is probably because the cushioning is not as thick as other cushioning found in volleyball or similar knee pads available, but make no mistake: there is comfortable fabric and great padding in these. The cap is not a super-rigid, plastic material like many skateboarding caps are. They are a sturdy but flexible, hard rubber material with a soft texture to them that provides grip when kneeling down. The lower strap is made of a tough and durable adjustable Du Pont Cordura (R) strap. The upper strap is made of a flexible elastic strap that gives enough tension to keep the fit around the lower quads/above the knee nice and tight without hindering range of motion when bending at the knee. The "Altalok" buckle system is simple to use; they slide in and out easily and are designed in such a way to eliminate any accidental loosening of the strap. They pivot on hinge that the buckle hooks around as well, enabling a more comfortable fit. Overall, I recommend this product to anyone who wants a comfortable, versatile kneepad. Construction workers, paintballers, and airsofters would appreciate the build quality and the comfort of the Alta Superflex Knee Pads.

Really Good Item
I wear these when I ride my 150cc scooter. These are my second pair, as the first ones took a lot of wear over ten years, and saved my knees when I got hit nearly head on by a pickup truck and the bike was totaled. My knees slammed into the fairing on impact, my right knee bent the ignition key, and ripped two house keys off the keyring, but I was able to walk out of the emergency room that evening. Knees were sore next morning, but I didn't need surgery on them! These are really good.

great buy
Bought these knee pads for when I play paintball. Very wise buy on my part. I beat mu body up when I'm playing and these pads have not only saved my knees from injury but also saved them when I dove onto a pile of mulch... I've seen mulch go through skin and its not fun. But these pads stay in place, flex with your movements, lightweight, and easily able to be put on or taken off in a hurry. My only issue was one of the rivets popped but that was after I used them hard for three months and this was a combination of a hit to the knee pad and getting caught on a 2x4/ pallet bunker. So one popped rivet I can't complain! Still use them today and they're easily a year and a half old now.

Straps don't stay adjusted
Good flexibility while maintaining strength and protection, they are definitely comfortable enough to walk and sit in. I can't speak to their durability yet, but for the price they seem like they will hold up well, at least for a while. My only major issue with them is the straps, particularly the top ones. See the top and bottom straps are different: the bottom ones are made of stiff, web-belt-type material that doesn't stretch, but the top ones are made of some sort of stretchy spandex or lycra-type material, and as a result, they slide around very easily in the buckle. So I'll have them adjusted them to my leg, then when I go to put them on and reach behind my leg to grab the top buckle, it immediately slides all the way to the loosest position almost every time, unless I remember to be extra cautious with it and hold the strap at the same time. Once you get it attached and it's got that pressure keeping it in place, it's fine, it's only when you're in the process of putting it on that it becomes an issue, but still, a pretty annoying one. That's why I only give them 3 stars.

Perfect!
These are great for what I need them for (my early 2000s Spetsnaz impression).

De vraies genouillères
Reste bien en place. Une fois réglées, elles sont agréables à porter et ne coupent pas la circulation sanguine.

GOOD
サバゲーで2度使用。膝をつくことが結構ありましたが今のところ破損する気配はありません。しっかり止めておればズレることも無さそうです。最初装着した時は違和感を感じますがゲームが始まったらじき慣れます。

Well worth the cost
As advertised, fits well with easily adjustable straps that hold the pad in place with easy to manipulate buckle system that does not fail.
