Neck Gaiter Face Mask Reusable, Cloth Face Masks Bandana Balaclava Cover Scarf Shield

I purchased this and several other neck-gaiter or handkerchief style masks looking for a good mask for hiking during coronavirus. I have heavier multi-layer fabric masks which fit tight with filter pockets for times when I want to provide myself some inhalation protection from others, but those masks are not appropriate for heavy exertion. So for hiking I just wanted something that would reasonably provide the protection to others from my own exhaled droplets when conditions force us to pass by close together. Several of the masks I ordered could not pass this simple test and were such thin fabric that I really couldn't in good conscious consider them valid masks for the purpose. This one, however, while lightweight and breathable, I felt was heavyweight enough to serve this purpose. It is roughly swimsuit material. When I have it stretched over my eyes, I can see through it, but only just barely. The material is stretchy, but a tight stretch and tightly knitted. You can see how it fits in the pictures. Pros: - The tube of the gaiter is very long, you can see in my pictures that it easily stretches over my entire face/head with fabric to spare. This means it is very versitile, if you wanted to wear it over your entire head so only your eyes would show, there is material to do that and still cover your neck. - I really like the elastic that lets you tighten the gaiter when its up over your nose. This I felt was a must for hiking when you are exerting yourself, possibly with hands busy on a pole or balancing yourself and you don't want to be constantly pulling the mask back up. - It sits loosely around your neck ready for when you need it, so when hiking you can easily just pull it up if someone else comes near - Pattern is pretty and vibrant - Well-made - no loose threads, looks like it will last well - Size - I am overweight and so don't have a tiny neck, but the tube when around my neck is loose and not tight, yet tight enough that it fits snug when I pull up over my face Cons (these are very nitpicky cons, but I list them anyway if it matters to you) - When I tighten the elastic and then pull the gaiter down, the elastic IS tight on my neck. Someone thinner might not have this problem, but it does mean I will have to loosen and tighten it each time I pull it on or off. Not a manufacturing defect, mostly just a factor of my neck size and the style Potential Improvements - No idea if manufacturers actually look at reviews for ideas, but I would love basically this gaiter with a pocket in front of the mouth area, providing slightly more protection (2 layers instead of one) and the ability to add a filter if desired. There were some that had this feature, but I don't think I could find one that had that and the elastic to secure the gaiter around your face. Overall, I was very happy with the quality and fit and ordered 3 more for the rest of my family.

This neck gaiter came in really handy on those cold winter days. Make sure you put it on the correct end—the material feels super smooth and soft against your skin. You can pull it up as high as you want on your face for extra coverage. If you have a thicker neck or a chunkier face, it might feel a little snug at first, but it stretches nicely but it still gets the job done.

The reason why I bought this is because my son plays baseball and it was easier for him to put up and down when needed. My son said wearing the gaiter mask was better for him while playing sports. It was breathable, lightweight and comfortable for him. I give a 4 stars because the only thing is after washing it many times it seems not to be as tight fit as when he first got it. I can see him on the ball field trying to fix it many times. But, washing anything alot can wear it the fabric out fast. Also, when the temperature start rising, he did stop wearing it and put a regular mask on due to his neck getting really hot and sweating more than usual. Witch is normal because it's wrapped around the neck.. and he's right in the sun for hrs. But, overall i recommend it! Would buy again!

Especially in these times, it's important to not only have a face covering, but one that is very easy to wear, comfortable and convenient to use and thankfully this Neck Gaiter fits all of those benefits! To give an idea as to how I use my neck gaiter, I use it currently as a standard face covering whenever I'm for example at a store, at a gym as I do find it much better to use in that setting than a face mask, and I also use it in settings where there may be harmful smells in the air. For the price, it is very comfortable, the fabric is soothing to the skin, and the gaiter is very easy to take on and off with little thought thanks to how light weight the fabric is. While there are definitely plenty of similar Neck Gaiters that you can get within the market, especially during times like this, the price in of itself makes it very worth it, you're protecting yourself in many aspects by using one, and the various custom colors that you can get help ensure that you can get any neck gaiter that fits your preference. I highly recommend this neck gaiter!

Strange design. Well the material is comfortable and will probably last a very long time, I don’t think I will use this very much because it doesn’t fit well. It has a drawstring and a fastener to hold that in position. For the life of me I cannot figure out why someone would make this design. It’s very loose on the other end so it can be assumed that the drawstring is tightened around the neck below the chin and drapes down lower from there. If it is supposed to be at the bottom than the top material just sags and hangs lower than you would want it to. No matter what—To have a drawstring around your neck feels very strange and it’s not a very safe Design either. God for bid it gets caught or someone grabs it from behind and wants to strangle you. It would be an easy job to do if that’s the intent. I would not recommend this product. Nice fabric though.

I bought this because I wanted something easy to wear in places that require a face-covering/mask during the coronavirus pandemic. I have several handmade cotton masks, but the tie ones are a hassle and the elastic ear loop masks constantly flip off my ears. I bought this brand specifically because I liked the galaxy print and that it's adjustable (although after trying other neck gaiters without the option to adjust, I'm not sure it's necessary). It's nice because when I don't have to wear it, I can't pull it down around my neck or up like a hairband. It's especially convenient for places like the zoo where you have to wear a mask for the indoor parts, but not the outdoor parts. I put it through the washing machine and dryer and it has held up well. It is more expensive than many other neck gaiters, but I can tell it is a little higher quality. It's easy enough to breathe through. I think it will be nice for the winter too for when the weather gets so cold that the air hurts your face.

This gaiter is soft and comfortable. It is tight enough to stay on, but not so much that it impedes your breathing. I have a smaller structure, and my teenage son has a larger build. It fits us both really well. The fabric on this is really breathable. The only thing I might mention is that one of the science teachers that teaches at the same school as I do said that these gaiters protect the people wearing them, but that they may increase the risk to the people around them. He said it has something to do with the mask breaking down the size of the droplets we exhale into the air, which makes it more likely for someone else to breathe them in. PLEASE don’t look too much into this, though, because I know nothing about how this works, and this is just heresy. My thought is that, if everyone wears a mask, this won’t be as much of an issue. I would still recommend this.

I bought this primarily because I'm about to do some little league coaching the next several months and wanted something to comply with covid little league rules that was more sports friendly than a mask. Here are the things I like about this product: 1. Ability to tighten the top. Many gaiters fall down or loosen over time. This one provides easy ability to tighten/loosen so that regardless of your face shape/size it will fit you well. 2. Breathable. Given I'll be using this for sports related purposes I wanted something that was breathable and this meets it. 3. Comfortable and lightweight. I am happy enough with this purchase I plan on buying a second one.
