These hearing aids weigh nothing on your ears. Even with my small ears, I barely notice they're there. Having tiny ears does pose a problem with them staying in place on the backs of my ears, though. I think it's that the wire is a bit too long for someone with small ears, allowing too much ability for them to move around. You do get a great selection of ear pieces so you can pick the size and style that works best for you. The charging case works well and is convenient for throwing in your purse or setting upright on your night stand or wherever. They include a good length charging cord too. And they include a cleaning cloth and cleaning brush/pick. In short, this set comes with everything you need. The app was definitely problematic at the beginning. It took me FOREVER to get the hearing aids to connect to it. Actually, I could connect to the app just fine, but it would constantly disconnect and then fail to reconnect. I eventually followed another reviewer's tip to go into your phone's bluetooth settings and connect the hearing aids that way. Once I did that, the app finally stopped disconnecting them at random times. I really like the customization feature that app has, where it tests each ear independently through various frequencies to get the hearing aids tailored to your hearing. And then you can easily adjust volume up or down as you want and swap between some environmental presets from the buttons on the hearing aids themselves or via the app. The controls are good. The only thing it doesn't seem to have is a way to independently adjust the volume for each ear. That's a feature I wish it had because sometimes you just feel like one ear needs some extra volume. Sound quality is okay. They make your own voice sound like you're talking into a glass jar, but other people's voices sound basically normal and have pretty decent quality. For OTC, I think these have about as good of clarity as you'd expect.

I have recently lost almost all my hearing in my right ear, moderate to severe hearing loss according to my ENT. It seems I have severe tinnitus and the ringing is so loud. Looking at hearing aids over the counter was an option since regular hearing aids are 4 times the price at the dr. Since I only need one hearing aid for my right ear, I am hoping these help regulate and somewhat bring back some of my hearing. I charged it overnight (usb-C) and the battery lasted the whole day. I recharged after 12 hours of use, even though the instructions said it last up to 40 hours of use. Using one hearing aid somewhat helped with my hearing, it works ok on a scale of 1-10, I give these a 6. There is an echo-y or after sound with these, there is also a lag in sounds. The sound is not very crisp, somewhat muffled at times, I feel like I am in a large bathroom with a lot of echoes, sounds and vibration. I am able to hear random sounds but cannot pinpoint where they are coming from, doesn't really have noise cancellation (maybe I don't know how to get the aid to noise cancel). The aid is comfortable and when I got 'tired' from hearing, I was able to just remove the buds from my ear and the aid stayed in place. It is nice to be able to adjust the aid from an app, but the app isn't all that great, very simple. The app wasn't able to connect to the aid, and I had to use bluetooth to find it and connect that way and then the app finally picked it up. There is one big thing to note, when using the app and toggling between screens, the hearing aid stops working for 10 secs, to reset to the setting selected. I feel that this hearing aid feels is made well and is the middle-ish to lower end of the line hearing aid; A starter hearing aid before spending a lot on different quality and testing out and getting used to wearing one.

I received these over-the-counter rechargeable hearing aids today. Since they were so easy to set up and try out, I thought I’d go ahead and review them on the same day. Right out of the box, the hearing aid and app instruction manuals were clearly laid out. The hearing aid instructions did use small type, which was a bit challenging for my older eyes, but I managed with my reading glasses. The app manual, however, used large text, which I greatly appreciated. The app was initially hard to find in the app store by searching alone. But when I scanned the QR code with my phone’s camera, it took me straight to the correct app to download. The first step to getting these set up is to fire up the app and turn on each hearing aid separately. I can see why each has separate power controls, as there are times you might want to wear one and keep the other ear free. To power up the hearing aids, you press the button on each one for about 10 seconds until they start flashing blue and green, which means they’re in pairing mode. Initially, I tried connecting through the app on my iPhone, but it kept disconnecting. So, I turned them off, turned them back on in pairing mode, and this time connected through my phone’s Bluetooth settings first. After that, I opened the app and connected them from within, which seems to have fixed any connectivity issues. Once you go through the “fitting” function in the app, the hearing aids are configured properly. I could control everything directly from my phone, and it even helped me adjust settings based on my specific hearing needs after a quick hearing test. The sound quality is where these really stand out. With 16 channels and impressive noise cancellation, conversations are clear, and background noise doesn’t interfere nearly as much as with other devices I’ve tried. The “NoiseZero” feature really lives up to its name, cutting out distractions without affecting the actual conversation volume. It’s also nice that they can handle different environments, whether I’m at home, outside, or in a busy spot. I was able to spend the entire day using the hearing aids without needing to recharge. They’re supposed to last up to 40 hours of continuous use before needing to go back into the case. The documentation says I can recharge them up to three times before the case itself needs to be recharged with a USB-C cable. Construction feels solid, though the hearing aids do feel delicate and require some care. The case feels quite rugged, easily housing both hearing aids, and has a USB-C port on the back for recharging. Overall, I’m very pleased with these hearing aids. Rechargeable and Bluetooth-enabled, they’re a great choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-use, high-quality hearing aid without the usual hassle.

Listen, I understand that everyone's ears are different, and what works for one person might not work for another. So I tested these earbuds on myself and four other people before writing this review. I got this hearing aid in case my husband or I ever needed it, but we found that it just wouldn't fit well. The wires connecting the earbuds are too long and floppy, which causes them to pop out of our ears. No matter what we tried, we couldn't get them to stay in place. If the wires were adjustable or could hold their shape when bent, it would have helped us fit them to the contour of our ears. Unfortunately, since the wires are floppy, they don’t hold any shape, causing the earbuds to fall out. They also do not work well with glasses because the piece that goes behind the ear is a bit bulky.

I found these to be pretty average. I've seen better for the price, but with the current discount they are ok. They come with everything you need. Take them out and select the ear domes that fit you best. Download the app at either app store. You can do a hearing test in the app, or enter your audiogram from your provider. You can charge them in the case a couple times before you have to charge the case again. These are bluetooth hearing aids so you can connect them to your phone, which you will need to do to use the app controls. You can also hook them up to your computer. I could only get the the right one to pair with my phone, so I couldn't use the app hearing test. Then the left one would pair with my computer. You turn them on by pressing the toggle on the back of each device. They turn from blue (off) to green (on). The amplification was ok and you can either use the app to change the volume level, or the toggle switch. I did have to do adjusting each time I wore them as I got a lot squealing. They were comfortable to wear as they aren't too big or wide. The batteries lasted a reasonable time for bluetooth devices. The sound through the bluetooth is kind of flat, but these aren't headphones. You can return them for 45 days and they have a one year warranty.

This is a good value over the counter hearing aid. It works best for hearing assistance. The Bluetooth connection worked well but didn't have very high quality sound for music or phone calls. Design: These things are nice and small and relatively lightweight. Once you've fastened them around your ear, you'll probably forget they're there. The ear domes that come attached to it fit me well, even though I have very small ear canals, but you can change them to suit your own ear canal size. The charging base is a little larger than normal and has an interesting shape, and is a bit easier to open than many. Sometimes the smoot plastic of the charging base door is slippery for dry fingers, but this one caused me no issues opening. Controls: There is a rocker switch on each hearing aid. Upper press is for powering on (hold for 3 seconds) and raising volume, lower press is for turning off and lowering volume. Once you get the hang of pressing them, they're easy to find and use when the hearing aid is on your ear. Audio quality: Very good, right out of the box. A bit of squealing when you first start inserting them in your ear, but that goes away quickly. When you connect it to your phone via the "Soundwear" app, you also get the opportunity to fine tune different sections of the frequency wave, so that you can customize the sound more than when just using them out of the box. Phone app: Bluetooth connection to phone was simple - you just open the case and they start pairing - just go to the Bluetooth settings and you'll see them. The app was easy to install and lets you easily make changes to volume, frequency tuning, and operation modes. As usual I found the "general hearing" mode to be the best for me. In summary - for an over the counter hearing device, this device is mid-priced and has some good features and audio quality found on higher priced units. I found it had very good quality and simple controls when using as a hearing aid. The Bluetooth connection paired easily and worked seamlessly, but I found the Bluetooth audio quality to be a bit muffled - probably above average for a BT hearing aid but not as good as an audio-only earbud. I'd recommend this product to anyone needing help for moderate hearing loss.
