Does what it claims, I tds tested it and it is indeed 0 ppm. I wonder if there have been bad batches when it comes to packaging, as I have read peoples comments about the product being hard to open...mine opened fine with no issues, so maybe there was a bad batch at some point, or they listened to feedback and addressed the problem. Either way, buy it with confidence, that you are indeed getting 0 ppm purity.

Update January 2026: I swore never to buy this brand again due to the experience described below of finding the cap virtually impossible to remove. However, I recently made a mistake and did order this brand again by accident. I was shocked to find that the exact same issue remains exactly as it was when I first bought this brand - it is completely impossible to remove the cap without using several tools and brute force, after which the cap will have been destroyed. The people responsible for this should be addressing this serious issue but clearly are not. AVOID! ------------------- Original Review: As others have observed the cap of this plastic container must have designed by a madman. It is virtually impossible to remove, even with tools. In this instance I was forced to use a pair of pump pliers and a stanley knife to get the cap off. This took over 10 minutes. At which point the cap had been virtually destroyed. This is plainly ridiculous and the manufacturers must address this issue immediately. See the other reviews below. At the same time, the TDS value of this water is not zero. Measured with 3 professional quality conductivity meters the readings were 5, 5, and 6 microsiemens which in no way equates to a TDS of zero. There are no shades of grey here - the TDS is either zero or it is not zero. The same meters consistently return readings of zero microsiemens when measuring Reverse Osmosis water. But above all, the main issue here is the appallingly designed cap.

Used in humidifier. Easier to clean it and will keep it going for longer.
