My Canon batteries were already damaged and swollen, so I decided to buy this kit — and it turned out to be excellent! The charging performance is great, and the connection works perfectly. I’m very satisfied with the quality and results.

The one thing I hate about most new cameras is that they all have their own unique battery, and thus their own unique battery charger. If you own several Canon cameras, as I do, then you also wind up owning several different, but visually similar chargers that you have to store. And you know that you ALWAYS pick up the wrong one the first, or even second or third, time. And woe be unto you should you misplace the charger you need. Which is exactly what I did with the charger for my SX40HS. So I bought this charger (and then of course found the Canon one a week later). Since I had it, though, and since I lost the Canon charger once, I decided to keep it. Then I decided to see if one charger, or one battery, was better than the other. The good news is that the batteries are interchangeable (as you would expect) between the two chargers. Both chargers also took just about the same amount of time to charge the non-Canon batteries. So the charger does what it should, but is no better or worse than the Canon supplied charger. What IS different is the battery life I get with the non-Canon battery versus the Canon battery. This is not scientific by any means, but the new batteries do seem to last significantly longer than my original Canon battery, so that is a big plus for me. However, even if I only got the same battery life out of the non-Canon batteries, having two extra means I get triple the battery life before needing to charge. So far, though, after more than two weeks, and almost 300 pictures, I am still on my first battery, so I am a very happy camper. You can't beat the price, either, so I think this is a five star product.

I really like this product it is easy of use, battery quality looks the same, functionality is perfect, its also really good for travling and can fit easliy into and small area.

Bought a Canon Powershot SX50 and wanted extra batteries for it. While these are not actual Canon batteries, they do fit and work just like the OEM battery that came with the camera. I will tell you that we only got about 2/3 rds the amount of use out of these as we did with the OEM battery, but since there are 2 of them, you should never be without a battery for your camera. The AC/DC charger worked great both in and out of the car and charged the batteries quickly. The included car charger has a long enough cord that you can easily plug it into the rear car charger port (if you have one) and still hold it in your lap in the front seats. Didn't need the screen savers that came with it, but those and the cloth were an added bonus. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the battery life, but I am not dissapointed at all and you won't be either.

This package which costs only $20 contains two batteries, a rapid charger, screen protectors (3), and a cleaning cloth. Batteries: (+) $20 for two batteries is already a bargain. (?) Not sure about longevity or durability, but still, it is priced cheap (easily replaceable). (-) It doesn't have metal connector covers (like in the original battery) Charger: (+) Rapid charging (+) Feels solid. Looks better in person. (+) Very small, hence, portable. (+) Has car charger included. (+) Has round electrical plug adaptor. Screen protectors (+) 3 in a pack. (±) Universal. Con: you have to cut it. Pro: It's big enough to split in two - making it possible to have six screen protectors (for 3-inch LCD screens). (-) To be honest, I think it is junk. It is so hard to apply, and the protectors are too obvious and kind of reduces the quality of the screen. I just removed mine. (-) The squeegee is a joke. Easily bent. Cleaning cloth (+) Standard above average size cleaning cloth. Despite the CONS, I am giving this 5 STARS since the the package basically gives you free stuff which are all usable. Bottom line, these are cheaply priced - truly a bargain. It is a must for owners of cameras that uses this battery. Verdict: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

These charge well, and come with the charger. I can use my camera all day.

the charger works, I have not used the batteries yet because I just got them.

I ordered this on an emergency basis, when I was on a trip and could not find the charger that came with my new camera; I was in a small town and did not expect to be able to find a replacement. After one day I had completely exhausted the battery.So I looked on amazon and found and ordered this set. The price was excellent: when I purchased the camera, I also purchased a spare battery, which cost $11.95. With this set, I got the charger, 2 batteries, screen protector and microfiber clothe, for only $8 more than the battery alone had cost. Also, the charger came with a car charger and an adapter plug for European style plugs. The charger charged the batteries it came with rapidly and they worked fine in the camera. It also recharged the original camera battery without problem and that also worked well in the camera. And a special complement to amazon and its vendors: I ordered this around 7 PM, with 1 day shipping, and when we went down for breakfast 13 hours later, the package was already waiting at the hotel reception desk!

Replacement for old batteries that don’t hold a charge anymore.

I just bought it and so far seems to do as intended. The charger worked, the batteries charged successfully and upon inserting into my camera, they worked as they should. Charger material is a bit cheap feeling but for $16, what more an I really expect?
