TOMS Women's Alpargata Core Loafer Flat

Have coveted these for a while and an offer too good to refuse came up. These are lovely. Really summery and can be worn with a dress or will kook great with jeans. They are a close fit and look very elegant although flat. Only one issue with the soles being a bit slippery on my polished floor - but once they scuff a bit - will be fine. Can't wait for the sunshine...

I was looking for shoes to fit into my backpack for a hiking trip, so I could give my feet a break from heavy walking boots in the evening. As these are lightweight and can be pushed together, they took up hardly any space, and it was a great relief for my feet after a day of hiking.With regards to sizing I followed the advice in most reviews and ordered half size larger than normal. My feet normally take size 7.5 and are a bit wider than average, so I ordered size 8. I expected the shoes to be tight but my feet slipped right in and they fitted perfectly straight away. I'm happy with my Toms as they are so comfortable, almost like walking barefoot but with some support and protection. They also look good and are versatile to wear with almost any casual outfit - trousers or dresses - as long as the weather is dry.

These shoes have witchcraft-like properties. I bought a 5, having been a 5 for my entire life and found I couldn't get them on my feet without a lot of struggling, which flummoxed the dog as I got ready for a walk. They turned my feet numb once I got them on - so very, very tight.I googled frantically, and was basically told to grin and bear it. I grimaced and bore it.3 hours later, I have shoes which slip on and fit my feet perfectly. They're SO comfy. Either they contained some shrinking powder and my feet are now tiny, or they've stretched to mould to my feet. Amazing.The only negatives are the initial pain, and the very strong smell of the dye, which fades too. And apparently socks are definitely needed, or they eventually smell horrible. Nice.

This is about my fourth pair and they always fit well even though my feet are quite narrow. I wear them frequently and they last me at least one British summer and usually into the next summer, before starting to fall apart. They can go through a washing machine cycle and emerge looking pretty good.

Toms shoes always seem too small at first, but they do stretch to fit your foot - you just need to persevere. When I first put them on, my toes were squashed, then my feet went numb, then my feet fell off, then I had them surgically re-attached, then I re-learnt how to walk again. As soon as I was able to walk unaided I put the Tom's back on and walked around in them for a few days. Then they fitted perfectly! Like magic.In all seriousness, they should feel a little tight but not enough to be painful. I usually take a size 6 and the 6 fits just fine after a few hours. Brilliant shoes, I have a few pairs now and even use one pair as slippers around the house, they're that comfy.

I’m a UK size 5.5 - 6. I ordered a 6.5 as I’ve previously had Toms and a 6 was too small. These ones were actually too big. Should’ve stuck with ordering a six. I returned the 6.5 and ordered a 6 and they fit perfectly. Not too tight to start off with, and there’s scope for a bit of stretch. A good price…pleased with purchase. Thank you.

These are very comfy and a lovely neutral colour (light greyish brown), but they started breaking down after a few weeks wear (much sooner than any other Toms I've had). They're still wearable a few months in, but disappointed they won't last quite as long as Toms usually last.

From waking around in a busy office clinic to wearing them during bartending o love these! My puppies recently had a chewing moment so buying a new pair. I’ll never choose another brand!

I got my first set of Toms at a consignment shop years ago. They were so comfortable and lasted for three years when my feet decided to grow. Just had to have another pair and would recommend for anyone who loves long summer strolls.

They fit great length wise but they’re very slim. Kind of tight around the top part. These are my first pair and I haven’t actually wore them yet but I heard they stretch with time. I have a small foot and wear a 2 in converse and a 3.5 in vans but can also wear 5/6 in other brands so I went off the EU size and these fit great! I’m so excited to wear them!
