lilac file - 2mm

Have had this file for almost 5 years, still use it every time I file my nails; excellent tool! Wipe it off gently with a tissue or a soft cloth (or a clean sock now retired to dusting duty, in my case) and it's good to go again after use. Really gentle with a light touch, but can also carve away length if you go firm; it does both jobs easily. I love that it comes in a case, makes me feel very comfortable traveling with it. The color is also fantastic, such a pleasing minty green.

I have a lot of nail polish, a lot of nail tools, and a lot of nail files, so I feel like I'm a decent authority on the subject. I bought this nail file back in 2018 -- my first ever glass nail file. Let me tell you, this baby is still going strong and working as well as it did when I first used it 2 years ago. Glass nail files can be made in two ways : the grit can be etched directly into the glass, or a spray-on grit can be applied to the glass. When grit is sprayed onto a glass file, it will initially feel very coarse and work fairly effectively. However, the grit will inevitably wear off with use -- often with only a handful of manicures -- leaving you with a smooth glass stick. When a glass file is etched, however, the grit is an intrinsic part of the glass itself, so it won't feel as coarse, but it will not wear down over time. As a result, an etched glass nail file can last you pretty much forever, and the smaller grit size lends itself to a much smoother filing experience (less jagged nail edges). After 2 years of weekly use of this nail file, I'm confident that this file is of good quality and will last me forever. I've tried many different glass nail files, and I've come to the conclusion that Marva Belle files are the only ones I want in my arsenal. I'm definitely interested in trying more of their files in the future, and I will most certainly be purchasing more of these particular files so I can have one everywhere I go. Get it now !

Expensive looking and does the job

(don't mind my crusty as cuticles ATM) I really like this file! But I wanna give a clear description of what the product is like. It's all very light weight. It comes in a really cute box. The container is very very light and of a very cheap plastic, however it feels pretty nice still and looks really adorable. The metal is just that metallic film on plastic, the type that might start scratching off. The file itself is also pretty light weight as well. It feels so nice to hold. The grit on it is so fine and smooth. I might be wrong but I think one side might be a little more coarse. My file did not have the pink at the base it all seems a uniform frosted glass color. It works great on nails. I was really impressed by how easily it worked without feeling rough on the nails. All in all it's a very cheaply made product but one that I really enjoy the aesthetics, feeling and use of. I'd be worried about the durability of the case. Also it should probably be a little cheaper but I'm pretty happy with it

They don’t last forever - the fine crystals wear off - but these are the best for filing nails.

Will never go back to cardboard files. Works effortlessly in minimal time, very durable. I had my first one for years before I stepped on it and broke it. Love that it comes with a travel case. Can’t beat this price

File is great but the case it came in was so tight I had to have my husband open it. It was a struggle for him as well.

This was a replacement for a glass file I had previously, which shattered in my handbag...so I love that this one comes in a little hard case! The actual file is great and glides smoothly, allowing me to keep my nails in great shape. This is one I'll be recommending to others.

This has quickly become my new favourite nail file. It's sturdy and glides over the nails really well without causing too much friction/grating some other files can, which is a massive bonus for me as this feeling goes right through me. It's fine grain leaves my nails feeling smooth and healthy. The case is a hard plastic case and protects the file well enough. Mine survived a 12 hour plane journey and back while only in the case without any issues which I was quite impressed with. The pastle colouring on the file itself is very pretty and acts as a good handle without getting in the way of the file part. Over all it's been that good I brought a few more for myself in different colours and for family as gifts which they loved too

Gentle filing for brittle nails. I have a couple of nails that split in the top centre despite regular moisturising etc. and this file shapes without any drag so is ideal for delicate nails. Not cheap but worth the extra. Recommended.
