This is a phenomenon mat and exceeds any expectations for a product at this price. I use a ground mat for my bed and wanted a smaller mat to try during the day. I had knee surgery and it hurts and swells up sometimes. The grounding mat really helps with the pain and swelling. When I put my feet on this mat I can feel it working, my feet and legs tingle and I feel very relaxed. Everyone is different, my husband says he feels nothing, but I’m sure he’s getting the benefit. Grounding has so many benefits and has been researched for years. It is very easy to use, just check your ground socket is good and plug it in. The mat is well made and durable. I have been using it daily and it’s in perfect condition.

Let's face it, I got this mat because it was the least expensive one out there and I'm skeptical, so I wasn't ready to drop $70-$100 on one. Also, the lady whose cat approved the mat really had a great review! Well, I WAS skeptical. My mat arrived on Sat, and besides sitting with my bare arms on it for about 30 min to help with a headache (whether it helped or the simple resting helped, who can tell?), I didn't have time to use it much. In the evening, I began coming down with dreaded symptoms of incoming illness... headache, cold chills, nausea, fatigue. I got my vomit bin in expectation of using it in the night and went to bed, making sure to bring my mat and plug it in (it does not come with a grounding detector, so I plugged it into a surge protector that has a light indicating when it's grounded). I fell asleep almost immediately, and woke up about 2 hrs later. Headache, cold chills, and nausea were completely gone. I went back to sleep and woke up at 6 am, 2.5 hrs before my alarm, bright eyed and ready to face the day. I'm totally blown away by this mat. I bought 3 more, one for a family member with cancer and two for my best friends for Christmas. Whether it works for you would likely depend on your lifestyle. If you have a lifestyle where your skin is in contact with the earth through going to the beach, gardening, etc, I would imagine the effects of this mat would be less. But for someone like me who works indoors, lives in a cold place that is not near any beaches or places youd WANT to go barefoot, this allows me to get grounded through the winter and when my schedule doesn't allow for it. Highly recommended.

Amazingly, it has helped me sleep through the night. But I keep it on a chair and put my beer feet on it for 30 minutes. It is too thin to put in the bed.

So I wanted to wait a while before giving a review so I had time to really test it out. I did this by using it just once a day for a couple hours, and then not using it at all for a week or more. This is what I think. I LOVE IT!! I've definitely noticed positive changes in my moods, and can truly feel a difference when I've not used it for a while. (My mood & energy become blah). It's very simple to use, no issues at all. The cord is very long so it works in many places. I usually just put it under my feet while sitting & doing whatever , and I've also used it for yoga, which also feels amazing on the mat. The unexpected part was my cat LOVES it. She was on it the very first time & continues to be on it every time I have it out. ( And being a cat who normally wants to lay on a soft surface, she chooses this on the hard floor instead). So my cat & i agree, it's definitely a good purchase. If I was doing it again, I'd have gotten one slightly better for doing yoga.

I'm an engineer so I suspect I have the skills to determine whether this grounding mat is conducting electricity. Using my multimeter I found out it does not. Got a good ground from the wall outlet to the end of the snap plug and it ends right there. Don't buy it or if you bought it, get rid of it. If you feel like you don't get any effect from it that's because you're not grounded.

I was skeptical because you cant SEE a difference.. The day before I used this i took a mental note of all the the aches and pains i have in the mornings.. My hands were numb for about 30 minutes each morning before using this product.. I use to drop my coffee because my hands just didnt work when i first woke up. NOW MY HANDS ARE TOTALLY NORMAL IN THE MORNINGS. AMAZING. I dont understand really how it does it but it DOES. I do allow skin contact to allow the maximum amount of exposure. I am a believer and bought one for my grandma and daughter.

Bought this for a dirty Santa gift, but decided to try it out myself to see if it actually works. I have noticed a huge difference in my body after an hour. Slept on it and woke up feeling energized, rested, and no body aches. This is a great product if you're new to grounding or just want to see if grounding works. I've decided to keep this mat and have purchased another one for the game.
