VViViD Barricade Premium 8 Year Stealth Satin Clear Paint Protection Film TPU (12" x 60")

Great PPF product. I used this to install a clear bra on the front of a 1984 Camaro Z28. I was very impressed with the results and proud of myself as it was the first time I ever attempted this project. Should have tried something easier but overall it turned out very nice. It is a thick product (unknown thickness but guess it to be 8mm or more) that will definitely protect again stone damage. While making tight bends I did use a heat gun on it to stretch the material around corners and it worked out very well. It was used over a white/gold pearl paint and it is very hard to see any lines or detect where to PPF is located. Great product.

I put this on the T-Top track of my 1990 Camaro after a new paint job. Didn't even think about constantly removing and putting them back equaled chipping off the paint. Oof! After some digging, I found this tape as it was super thin, and strong. Reading some negative reviews- I think most issues might be from faulty installation. Clean the surface with Denatured Alcohol *Install this on a warm day- Heat is your best friend. You can make it bend around small curves and corners. Just keep tension on it while you're pulling it over a curve. Peel off the back liner half way through so you can still align the tape without fiddling with some giant, long piece of sticky tape. Once it's completely down, put your finger on the halfway point to tack it down... push heavily outward to get all air out. Use a squeegee/credit card to push it into the grooves. Just remember water will get in anywhere, so make sure it's secure and pressed down hard. I use my fingernails on the edges. Once my tape was down, you can't really see it. Very happy with this product.... It's all about prep work and application. Don't rush it. It rained the day after I put it on but it's still sticking very well.

Good for protecting your paint I use this on my car to protect the paint I installed splash guards on my car and put this on first so this sits up against the paint not the splash guard. it worked well for the price. I didn’t have to do this, but decided hey why not protect the paint from rubbing.

If you are looking for watch clasp protection material, this is it. Thin, easy to work with. X-acto knife, a straight edge, a cutting board, tweezers, and careful measuring and your project will go fine. A few trial and errors, but it works great. When first applied, it can show some haze under it, but when it dries, it disappears! I bought the 2"x60" roll. Way more than I'll ever use in my life on watches... cost effective! But there is a place on my car that needs this applied....

I used this ppf on a car and I came in with bubbles already and when installing it didn’t want to stick and when I did manage to stick it it kept getting bubbles I highly don’t recommend it

I purchased this film to cover up some piano black interior pieces on a car I just bought. I must say, in all honesty, if you cut your edges correctly along the edge of the piece, it is nearly invisible. I was hesitant to purchase a bunch of ppf’s that I looked at because I was afraid of orange peel. Once the slip solution I used evaporated, there was no change in texture. I purposely stopped midway through the job and had multiple coworkers look to see if they could tell which pieces were wrapped and which were stock. 1 out of 8 of them was able to tell. It was only because the sun reflects a little different off the ppf. That’s understandable though because of the difference in materials, ppf is tpu and the interior pieces are abs. I’m very impressed with the product and would recommend it to anyone.

58" not the 59" as posted on listing. Says use slip solution but they dont tell you what is in it since they want you to buy their stuff. Baby shampoo and water worked to adjust the piece, but wouldn't let you tack it down. I then tried isopropyl 9:1 ratio and that worked a lot better. The slip with isopropyl was limited, but the tack was actually working. Heat gun also helped with the edges. Considering the price and what you get, I am happy with the ppf. I would buy it again now that im better with mixing the applicators. I wish they sent a guide on the wet application part since I was guessing ratios with baby shampoo and isopropyl

Used on my rv for paint protection here and there and this stuff is easy to work with.

Highly recommend for a beginner. I was installing this on the roof of my fiberglass camper to protect from tree crap etc. I started with 2 larger 30x72 pieces. The first went OK with a few minor wrinkles which I did not really care about as it is the roof of a camper. The second went far faster and no wrinkles. I likely should have started with one of the smaller 18x30 pieces I have to install to provide an easier learning curve. It is very strong and looks good.

Bought this item Clear Gloss 6” & 8” each time each time the packaging was different and the logos on the back were different. 6” material look very glossy and smooth. The 8 inch version was very well packaged in a nice box, but the material itself was not similar as you can see in the photos. 8 inch material did not look as smooth or glossy and did not look to well adhered to the backing. As you can see when the finish photos of the 6 inch material on bike. Ppf was easy to apply and had good stretch long working time and is virtually in invisible when finished. Will be contacting the seller about the 8 inch material. Maybe wrong material was shipped.

This stuff is a complete waist of time and money, stuff barley stics to the vehicle, the tacky surface wont even capture a misquito a quick pass with an air line and the whole sheet came off like nothing. Your not saving money by buying this. Theres a reason is only 45 bucks for 96" And upon return, you only get back the purchase cost, not the tax or shipping you may have paid,. Do your self a huge favour and go to a cutom shop that does PPF ,have them put it on real ppf material, and not vapor barrier🙄, if your not happy with there work, they have ta do it again. So if you buy this....dont say i dint worn you😉 B.t.w. If i could have left this with "0" stars i would have, but tgey wont let me post with out at least 1 star🤨
