LEGO Kingdoms Outpost Attack 7948

This is really an amazing Lego set. We have a house full of Lego's with 3 boys and this has survived when many other sets have gone by the way side. This set was easy enough for my 9 year old son to put together all by himself. The catapult actually works and it came with enough mini-figures to be able to actually make use of the set. It has combined nicely with our Lord of the rings sets.

Great Product and Quick Delivery

I've purchased MANY sets of LEGO bricks over the past 2 years, enough to annoy my parents. I own two of this particular set because I like it so much (and I wanted to stage a crusade).The only thing I dislike about this set (and I'm guessing that any kid will LOVE it) is the wall behind the arch, it isn't connected to anything. This is meant as a play "feature", so that the catapult can knock it down. As a 22 year old, I prefer to keep my sets on display rather than play pretend with them, and it makes transporting this set from up high away from my little brother to the floor for him to play with it a little bothersome.Overall I would recommend this as a gift, I would recommend this for display, and I would recommend it as a great part of the Kingdoms set.

My 9 year old son could not wait to build this set though he got several for Christmas. He loves the catapult and has learned quite a bit about ancient times and war tactics as a result of asking about this device. It did not take him very long to build and he has been playing with it quite a bit since. As always, Lego comes through with an excellent product- fun, imaginative, durable and educational.

My kid likes minifigures and special pieces, and this set delivered. Getting 3 minifigures in a set less than $20 is somewhat rare, and it was set up in a way that two kids could play with it instantly. They were pretty amused with the window that falls out. We need more sets like this!

My son is 7 and built this set by himself. The bigger (more expensive) sets usually require his dad or me to help him out. He was enjoying catapulting the minifigures into the fortress not long after opening the box. This is a nice set with great-looking good and bad guys.

Cool little set.

This is a great addition to the castle set. Our kids got the big castle and the medieval market along with a number of smaller add-ons like this one. Lots of fun, and it's wonderful to see our kids on the livingroom floor playing with some imagination.
