The beauty is, it’s sustainable and the rolls come in paper rather than plastic which is something I liked.Sometimes I use toilet tissue just to get rid of any gooey soap from around my sink. The Andrex I was using prior just started falling apart but this one was super strong and is very soft. It’s well worth the few extra pennies. It seems to last ages too. I also use it for my hamsters nest. Rather than using ordinary toilet roll I just tear this up and pop it in. My hamster has allergies and bamboo paper is naturally antibacterial and very low in dust, doesn’t contain chemicals or bleaching agents. It's not hard at all - but there is no \"wow\" factor with regards to the softness.The real plus point for me was ABSORBENCY! My estimation puts this at a 1:2 ratio in favour of bamboo. I will never go back to ordinary loo rolls again. These are 100% softest, gentlest kindest to my skin tissues that I've ever felt. They are strong to the touch, smooth like anything. Softer on my derriere as other toilet roll seemed to scrape my skin or leave paper cuts, as my skin is really sensitive.
