Works with the factory wire plug.
I ordered a 3rd brake light from another vendor. The factory plug did not fit into it. I ordered this to replace it and this one worked beautifully. It fit into the rubber seal well and installed easily. I now have a bright brake light.

Perfect fit for 2006 F-150 king cab.
I just installed it and it’s working great. I’m very satisfied with it. It’s a perfect fit for my 2006 King cab F-150. It doesn’t come with the hardware so be sure to save your screws. (2x #8 2” sheet metal screws if you don’t have them) It also comes with 2 neoprene washers to add to the screws. You’ll want to adhere the gasket seal to the light before connecting it. The plugs fit perfectly where the bulbs go. If it doesn’t fit one way then flip it.

GREAT REPLACEMENT LIGHTS
So far so good!! Install was a fun DIY plug and play. There are videos online that will help as a quick reference for the install. The third brake light LED gives my 2015 ford f150 an upgraded look compared to the original light. The light Looks great at night, very bright and steady light.

Works but has issues
Light works correctly and sits flush. The gasket included with the light is too thick and causes the light to stick out, no longer flush. Also, there is a clip on the wiring connecter that is supposed to be held by the light. It does not. Ironic that their supplied clip doesn't fit in their supplied light.

This product deserves 5 stars or higher. I was quoted $591 for same lite at auto zone. My mechanic shop was $598. These prices were for a OEM replacement. This product is aftermarket. My experience was outstanding. This light is easy 3 times brighter than a stock part & it costs less than $50

Great Product
Worked perfectly for my 2013 Journey SXT. Easy to replace. Local auto shop wanted to charge me $200 for a factory replacement. Glad i got this.

does not sit flush to the body
The foam gasket is too thick so the lamp does not sit flush to the body like the OEM, otherwise I woud have given 5 stars

Came very well packed, plugged right in, I was concerned because the old one had two plugs, this new one only has one plug, but it plugged in and both functions work, the third brake light and the cargo lights. It did come with a thicker gasket than the old one so we did have to scrounge for longer screws, screws were not included in the shipment.
