Q: Will this help to remove machine embroidery designs?

Hi, No I don't think it would be good for such tight stiching. I tried to remove a pocket from a shirt that was tacked on using a satin stitch & I ended up cutting the fabric. It is good for single line stitching though, love mine.

Q: Can you buy replacement blades?

Never needed replacement blades. Like an electric razor

Q: Has anyone used this on machine embroidered items?

Yes, I’ve used mine a ton on embroidered items. It may not remove all the thread but it loosens it enough that the stitching can be gotten to with a seam ripper. And it will ‘clip’ off long threads. It’s not a cure all for embroidery oops but I is a great help.

Q: Would this work on jean seams?

I haven’t used my seam ripper on denim...it is designed for seam ripping, so worth a try! Mine is used mostly for ripping out quilting seams, when making my new quilts.
