I have been a medical transcriptionist for almost 20 years. The audio quality for voice coming through these headphones is crystal clear, which is exactly what you need for transcription. I prefer the under-chin style of these headphones, and they are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time (they squeeze the ears a bit tightly at first, but they loosen up over time). It's great how you get extra foams with this set. Highly recommended!

I have been transcribing for 35+ years and always use over-the-ear muffs. I thought I would try these because of the lightness to them. They are light, but the sound quality is very poor with a lot of treble.
