Looked great but after a redesign I had to return for a different size. Return was well managed by the seller but struggled to find a courier due to size.

Very disappointing experience. I purchased this shower tray for £114 after contacting the seller beforehand to confirm that it would be suitable for my requirements and compatible with my shower screen. I relied on that information when making the purchase. When my plumber came to fit it, problems became apparent with the tray and water was not draining as expected. This resulted in wasted time and additional fitting costs. I therefore decided to return the tray. The seller arranged collection but deducted a collection fee from my refund. Despite explaining the circumstances, they have repeatedly refused to refund this amount. What makes this more frustrating is that Amazon Customer Service subsequently contacted the seller and instructed them to bear the postage cost and issue the remaining refund, yet the seller has still refused. In the end, I bought a replacement shower tray from a local outlet for £50, which was less than half the £114 I paid for this one. Sometimes it really is better to buy from a local outlet where you can see the product, speak to someone face-to-face and resolve any problems directly. Very disappointing customer service and, based on my experience, I would not buy from this seller again.
