Q: How many controllers may one hook up to the ps classic using this receiver? Only one?

Not sure if you con get the same results I did but I was able to get two active controllers to work at the time on my raspberrypi 4. I had two dongles, 1 for each controller.

Q: Would this work with a PS2? Like if I wanted to connect a PS4 controller to my PS2 would that work?

Doesn’t work with PS2. Works with PS3 and PS4 controllers.

Q: Its only for play classic or works with switch as well

This adapter and the orange / brown version can be used with the same systems ( PS4, PS3, 8Bitdo Controllers, Nintendo Switch Pro, Nintendo Switch Joy-cons, Wii Mote, Wii U Pro and more, wirelessly, on Windows PCs, Macs, Raspberry Pi, laptops, tablets ). The difference with the gray one is that this includes a work around to allow a button combination to open the debug menu for the Playstation Classic. You will not be able to do that with the non-playstation version.

Q: Would this work with a PS3 controller?

Yes but I recommend checking out a tutorial on youtube as it seems to be a bit complicated to get it working properly.
