This is a revised and expanded version of Santa Fe Uncovered: A Local’s Insight into the Heart of New Mexico. The book retains all the charm of the original plus adds fun facts, insider tips, and personal "handwritten" stories about the author and her family's connections to each locale. These anecdotes really complement the original very comprehensive guide to Santa Fe and I enjoyed them very much. I would recommend this guide to anyone interested in learning more about or in visiting Santa Fe. Thank you to Kimberly Buck Cordova for the copy of her work and the opportunity to review it.

This is literally the ultimate guide and the only guide you need to truly experience the beauty of Santa Fe. After reading this guide, Santa Fe is on my 'places-to-visit' list

As a local, the author shares great tips on hidden spots, cultural experiences, and must-see attractions that you won’t find in typical travel guides. I loved the personal stories and insights that made me feel more connected to the city, reminding me of my own adventures in Santa Fe. This book is a must-read for anyone planning to visit or those who just want to learn more about the area. I’d definitely give it 5 stars for its helpful and enjoyable content!

Overall, this isn't a bad city guidebook. It seems to hit all the important points, and seems to demonstrate that the author has a first-hand understanding of the place to be visited. It did not help at all that some of the illustrations appeared to be AI generated, which, in my opinion, detracts somewhat from the authenticity of the work. But the illustrations weren't fatal to the book as a whole.

I think it is safe to say this is the most thorough, most exhaustive travel book on Santa Fe—one of my favorite cities—that anyone could ever imagine. It literally covers everything you could think of about the city, its culture, history, features, highlights, accommodations, weather, neighborhoods, restaurants, transportation, activities, and even something the author calls “hidden gems”—of which there are many broken into categories by appropriate ages. Five stars all the way.

This is just a great guidebook. Everything you need to explore Santa Fe. Where to stay, where to eat, what to see... Very cozy graphics and great photos add to the atmosphere of a city worth visiting. One can feel that the author is very close to this city.
