Sturdy and very similar in look and quality as my original that needed replacing. All parts interlock seamlessly.

The media could not be loaded. The base seemed small in the pics, but one pic showed "this" dry container fitting like it should. Inaccurate. The teeth fit to run the blades, yes, but the base is not a snug safe fit like the blender container that came with it (or other dry containers designed for it). It will wiggle, it will take a pulse (or 2+) to ensure it is lined up. You can make this work if the cost effective factor is the main thing you base your decision on. I have a 5200 series Vitamix. Replacement pitchers are expensive so finding a properly fitting off brand to save money is helpful. This pitcher is solid and very close to the original. It has a solid base that sits well on my blender. The lid locks in place almost too well. It does make a little more noise than my other pitchers, but it seems to perform equally well.
