Worth the investment!
I own a salon and spa and go through multiple gallons of distilled water a week for various machinesand equipment. I got really tired of running out to the store and thought I'd give this a try. It is awesome! We'll worth the money. For the first 48 hours it had essentially been going non stop so we could build up a reserve. It worked so well i got one for home for our humidifiers and husband's CPAP. Definitely worth the investment if you go through a lot of distilled water

Works well enough
I've only had it for a couple weeks but it's definitely done its job within these few weeks. I gave it four stars because I don't think it's an actual gallon, but it's really close. Currently using the cleaner that came with it which I cleaned the bottom about every 7-10 uses. I do feel that soon enough I'll get the value for my money instead of buying junks all the time. Seems sturdy and it's not terribly noisy but it does make some heat.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I use a lot of distilled water with a CPAP machine, carnivorous plants and fish tanks. This machine is definitely a workhorse! I use it about every other week and make 3 gallons over a few days. Easy to clean and runs like a champ! Would highly recommend getting one.

Not a good investment
I used it a total of 5 times and now it stopped working. Definitely not a good investment.

Does the job well, but takes some time
Got a new humidifier which takes about 1gallon of distilled H2O/day. With this distiller I don’t have to purchase/store gallon jugs. Easy to use once you get the knack of set up. Each process takes just a few minutes to set up. The 4 hour default fills the included gallon jug. I set it up in a spare bathroom or on our balcony when it is warm. The unit does have a steady hum from the fan a does generate some heat. Doesn’t really require any attention while running though I still am in habit of checking it periodically. I don’t think I will leave on while I’m not home. Periodic descaling only takes a few minutes with included crystals. Helps to be retired.

Makes great water
Works well. Takes 4 hours to make a gallon of water. Puts off a LOT of heat. Fan can be a bit noisy, but I have it in a closet so I don't hear it.

Great little distillation unit!
Works very well. Perfect companion to my small humidifier as one distillation fills the humidifier. Saves at least $2 per day compared to buying bottles of distilled water. And much more convenient.

That it works
Works great can’t believe it’s in our water. It’s nice that it’s under the counter, but it does take four hours to do one turn around.

Cost effective
Easy to use. If you have a cpap machine or humidifier it is a real cost savings, no bottles to return.

It works and has made a difference.
I bought this a while ago and have waited before reviewing it. The water where I live is terrible and full of limescale, so is not nice to drink. Even though we have a water filter it still gets into the kettle and therefore us. At the time I felt buying this was an expensive way just to have some drinking water, however with the long hot summer my wife and I have been drinking a lot of ice cold drinks. Using this machine which to me is basically a still all the limescale and impurities that effect the taste of the water are removed and we have decent drinking water at last. It takes four hours to process a full load of water which we then keep in glass bottles in the fridge and replace when supplies run low and there is no denying it has been an ideal year to make the most of this. I think if global warming is happening as fast as it seems to be then this is a great buy. I have given this four stars not five because when it is on it turns our small utility room into a bit of a sauna which is not ideal, but I can see why.

Works well, but the container is NOT glass, it is plastic
It works as intended but has a couple of issues. First, the container is not glass as advertised, it is plastic. Second, the container is a bit too tall and so to fit under the spout, the distilling unit has to be tipped back a bit.
