These darts are player endorsed by Gabriel Clemens the german darting legend. I remembered my dad playing darts when I was young. Being recently diagnosed with Alzheimers I thought keeping him busy and doing things may help him. He's now got an old hobby back and the light back in his eyes when he beats me at darts constantly. I think personally I may need lighter darts but they are the correct weight for him. This darts set is excellent and very easy for me to set up and use. We are avid darts players in this house so the set has certainly had a good work out so far! I feel the quality is superb because the set is strong, sturdy and durable so will last us for years to come and withstand a lot of usage. I like that the darts are comfortable for me to hold and throw and they sink into the board brilliantly. The design and style of them is awesome and I like the colours used. The accuracy on my throws is decent too and I would think this is mostly down to the wonderful quality and craftsmanship of the flights and the darts themselves. I like that the darts come with a pouch and that it’s very presentable so would be an ideal gift for someone in my opinion. I’ve not had any issues or problems with using these darts so I happily recommend them and I feel they are excellent value for money. They get a huge thumbs up from me!

The “German Giant – Gabriel Clemens” Target darts pack contains one set of barrels, 3 sets of pro grip shafts (1 yellow, 1 white and 1 black), 9 pro ultra flights carrying the German Giant branding, a pouch/wallet to keep everything neatly organised and a month’s subscription to the Dart Counter app. As with the other Target darts I ordered the barrels are of good quality and have sharp points that look like they will last a long time. The barrels are textured along the entire length ensuring a good grip, and at 23g they are a nice weight reducing the effects of fatigue. The red, black and yellow rings around the bottom of the barrel won’t improve my game however they are aesthetically pleasing and look cool. Like the barrels, the shafts are well made and more than sturdy enough for the job at hand. The thread on the shafts fits the barrels perfectly and sit nice and tight, which means they don’t accidentally come off. In my experience some shafts have loose flight grooves, which leads to the flights coming out. This is not the case with these darts. I really like the German Giant pattern and colour scheme on the flights, however they are not the best quality. That said, the flights do a good job and ensure a smooth and straight flight. The poor quality flights is a shame because the rest of the pack is so good and durable. At £29.95 (at the time of review) these Target darts may seem expensive but considering there is are two sets of spare shafts, and a couple of spare sets of flights (that aren’t perfect but functional) and a wallet/case for storage the entire pack is good value for money. I have not used the free trial of the dart counter app because I am old school and like to keep my brain working doing the number work in my head. For those players that struggle with numbers or simply can’t be bothered with mental arithmetic I can see the dart counter app being quite useful. I am unable to comment on it’s functionality, ease of use or how buggy it may, or may not be. All things considered these Target darts are very good and come recommended. I would, however, suggest dispensing with the flights and using something else if you have the capacity to do so.
