Exceptional knives!
I now own 6 Hoshanho knives and every one of them is exceptional. I wanted really sharp knives and I got really sharp knives and I will keep them that way. They are beautiful. They cut like a dream- effortless. Did I mention they are beautiful?

Beautiful knife
Beautiful blade, I love the handle abd design on the blade. Its sharp (i still re sharpened it) and has a gorgeous appearance. Remember to NEVER put these into the dishwasher

I haven't had a chance to use this knife yet. But, it appears to be sharp and easy to use

Didn't hold an edge
Comes really sharp but did not hold the edge very well. It looks to be hand hammered from a distance but it's not. I've resharpened the blade and I'll see how long it lasts. If it holds an edge I'll update this if not I'll just throw it away. Update: After resharpening the blade, 22° both sides, it's now really sharp again and seems to be holding it's edge well. I'll keep it. So if you buy it be prepared to sharpen it. PS, the blade is to thick to use as a filet knife 🔪 no flex at all.

The metal on grips will cut you before the knife cuts anything
Horrible, the metal grips were like the foil on a champagne bottle but way harder so it could cut your skin. Sent it back.

Great for the deer camp
Great for my travel knife roll at the deer camp when the salmon comes out.
