This is a compact, personalised library embosser stamp.It took nearly three weeks to be custom made and delivered and came in a neat storage bag with a pop button closure.When you take it out of the bag you have to insert the stamp into the device.Thankfully this is quite easy, if I can do it anyone can!Then when you have any paper page or silver or gold sticker in the clamp when you squeeze the handle your embossed image is imprinted into the page.When I bought this there was the option to add gold (Or silver) stickers to the order and I opted to add 100 gold so my daughter could treat her favourite books to a special finish.I spent a long time selecting this stamp from the many available on the net because I wanted to give my daughter something that was very special and unique to her, her initials spell out the name of a tree and when I found onw of the options from the provider included the image of a girl sat as the foot of a tree reading a book I knew I had found the perfect image for her.I had the wording read with her first and last names with her middle initial included so it would be obvious why this specific image was chosen.The total number of characters and spaces needed to achieve this was 14 which I would say is the maximum you can request and still get a clear readable image.This stamp was cheaper than the one I first saw on face book and included the gold stickers and in my opinion (and hers!) a much better design.I really like the fact she can by just the stamp on its own (very affordable!) and use it in the device if she wants a different image for a different series, range or collection of books.When you order it you will have to decide which way up the stamp will be used, I chose from the bottom of the page.some practice is needed to get the best out of it but once you have the knack you will make your library truly your own.This was one of my daughters favourite Christmas presents this year!HTH

Product arrived and is broken. The embosser plate part won’t attach to the handle. Waste of money, extremely disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. The large variety of personalisation options are great.The ability to swap out the embossing pads for different ones is a great idea.However the embossing itself isn’t great. In order to fully emboss the design you really need to press down, understandable of course, but when doing this the embosser partially cut through the pages of my book. I tried applying less pressure but then lost some of the details of the design at the top as it didn’t imprint on the page and still cut into the pages.I bought this as a gift for a massive book lover but can’t give it to them as they will be very upset if it cuts into the pages of their books. Now need to buy another one from somewhere else and be out of pocket as I can’t return a personalised item.

Ordered two, one name shorter than the other. The longer name (8 letter first name, 8 letter surname) isn’t as clear as the shorter (3 letter first name, same surname).

As you would expect for a personalised gift it did take quite awhile to arrive but it did arrive in time for Christmas. It was gifted to my mum. We tried it on a few books and stickers and each time it came out really nice and she was really pleased
