I had a perm done a while ago and I got tired of using a diffuser on my hair. It just took so long and it just didn’t seem to work right. My hair did not come out looking like I wanted it too. So I thought maybe this would help as usually the airflow is gentle and I’m not constantly touching my hair with the diffuser on my dryer. I absolutely love it! I get my hair looking like I want it while it’s damp, using product and stuff like that, and I sit under this dryer for about 15 minutes, possibly longer if my hair is quite wet, and when I use a large tooth comb to take the cast off of my hair, it comes out looking just like I want it to! It’s soft and the waves/curls are defined, not frizzy! I do not usually use the hottest setting, because it does get very hot. And it is nice that you can turn down the heat to actually set your curls or waves with the coolest setting. And, most importantly, the bonnet of this dryer is huge so I can get my big head into it. Lol. Update ~~ About the issue of all the heat coming out the back of the bonnet, I found a partial solution. I cut a piece of plastic out of a cheap food container (a fairly large one so that it was not too curved) and superglued it over part of the air outlet in the back of the bonnet. This forces more of the heat upwards into the bonnet. Works pretty well.

I’m really pleased with this hood dryer. It heats up nicely and does a great job of drying my hair evenly. The hood is comfortable to use, and I love being able to get that salon-style drying experience at home. It’s especially useful for deep conditioning and setting my hair. So far, it has been a great addition to my hair-care routine and I would definitely recommend it.

Very strong and quickly can dry my twists but the "cold" setting feels warm and the "low" settings feels too hot. Maybe that is hot it should be and I'm not used to hooded dryers

This item is perfect for home hair drying. The price is really good. It gets super hot and the airflow penetrates to the scalp. If you have curly hair that needs to be dried without being touched this is the right tool. I have super curly hair and it takes forever to dry my hair. This is great because the airflow does not disturb my curls and it allows me to work on my laptop and wear earphones while my hair dries. It gets really hot but also blow at cooler temps. great for setting curls, deep conditioning and getting your hair dry quickly( especially helpful in winter or when you want to wash your hair in the evening and go to bed. It folds up to stow away in the cabinet or closet,

It’s okay. I’ve had better. I don’t like how it takes longer to dry my hair. Especially the front. There are no vents in the front so the front of my hair takes even longer

It is noisy, if you are tall make sure you adjust the height of it and put it in a place higher to the chair you will be using as the head of the hood dryer is not that flexible but, besides that is a 9/10 because it gets the job done! But watch the back of your head as the air flows is not too strong; is not a heavy as i thought, i would say it’s good for the money, good design to put it anywhere, good size but i wouldn’t say is very comfortable.

Muito feliz com minha compra! Só mudaria uma coisa: deixaria ele mais "longo" atrás para secar a parte de baixo mais rápido. Porém, mesmo demorando um pouquinho mais o resultado é incrível! Já havia testado toucas, difusores (aqueles que acoplam no secador), etc., e esse entregou o melhor resultado, prático e sem frizz! =)
