No More Game Uninstall Roulette – Worth the Investment
As someone who constantly juggles game installs on my Xbox Series X, this WD storage expansion has been a lifesaver. After six months of use, I can confidently say it delivers exactly what it promises – seamless extra storage without compromising performance.- Plug-and-play simplicity – recognized by my Xbox instantly with no setup needed- Identical performance to the internal SSD – games load just as fast- Compact design stays flush with the console (no ugly protrusions)- 1TB capacity lets me keep 10-15 AAA games installed simultaneously- Reliable heat management – never gets hot even during 8-hour gaming sessionsConsiderations:- The price per GB is steep compared to regular external HDDs (but you're paying for the speed)- Only works with Xbox Series X|S (can't repurpose it as a general-use drive)- White version shows dust more than the black consoleI primarily use it for:1) Keeping Call of Duty and other huge games permanently installed2) Quickly swapping between Game Pass titles without waiting for downloads3) Storing next-gen optimized games that require SSD speedsIf you're tired of uninstalling games to make space, this is the only storage solution that keeps the full Xbox Series X experience intact. While not cheap, it's eliminated my storage anxiety completely.

It’s basically like giving your console a second internal drive. Also, 2TB is a huge upgrade. I used to juggle space constantly—delete one game to install another. Now, I’ve got dozens of AAA titles installed and still have room left over.Pros:Plug-and-play simplicityBlazing fast performance (just like the internal drive)Compact, sleek designOfficially licensed for Xbox – no compatibility worries

Works like a dream, even for new games!
Trying to be more diligent about writing reviews to help people. So here what I wanted to know before I bought that I found out after ordering.Very easy to use, sleek black design, almost completely disappears once plugged in right. Easy to carry around with the little case it comes with. Worked for my wife’s Xbox series s flawlessly, expanding the storage to 1T.Now the important stuff. Every ssd and had I’ve bought, have been utterly useless. I wanted to be able to play my games, not just store them to have to constantly move them around. This little stick, easy to connect into the back of the console, has changed the game. It’s entirely x/s compatible. And by that I mean it will run whatever game you put in it. Unlike other devices that cannot run modern series x/s games, this has zero problem running it. Used it to run Diablo 4, call of duty, GTA online, it works for all the big titles the competition can only dream of. You literally just plug it in, and it’s ready to use as if it was just your console. One gamer to another, take the leap. I wouldn’t even stop here, get the 1T version, really max out your fun!!!!!

Great expansion card
Makes usable storage in a 512gb Series S 20gb above that of a stock 1tb model. Great deal, fast load speeds, works great

Best Expansion Option for Xbox
The item does exactly what it is supposed to, expands storage, seamlessly and easily - with a simple insertion into the back of the console. It is literally foolproof and ideal for anyone not savvy enough to open a PS5 (which is also quite simple, but not as simple as this). This storage device tends to be listed at a notably higher price than I would find the same exact amount of SSD storage for my PS5 or PC, but I suppose you are paying more for convenience of the the plug and play aspect at play here.
