I’ve been turning pens for over 30 years, and I can’t believe I lived without these for all that time. The tool has already saved my bacon on a couple of pens, and also a wine cork I turned.If you turn small stuff, GET THIS TOOL.

They were out for a while but I finally got them and they are very usefull

Red padded grip on one side of pliers jaws is already torn, making it risky to use in pen making. I'm surprised PSI is the only distributor of this product since it's pretty much indispensable in taking apart a pen kit. I'll buy again, and be more careful, but they should make replacement jaw covers.

Haven't had to use it yet but it clamps and holds an old shop pen so should be good.

I’ve already had to disassemble a few pens that didn’t turn out quite right. It works better than a regular clamp since it is more forgiving with the clamping pressure. I was getting dents from my previous methods. This clamp allows the pressure to be more spread out. I use it with a set of punches I got at HF for under $10.

These were the perfect addition to my arsenal of pen making tools and accesseries. Yes, I will be buying a 2nd set as backup.

I tried various way of taking pens apart but not with much success. Now I have this it is so much easier, quicker and cleaner.

Beats a cloth and a vice grip! Great adjustability and soft jaws. A must for easy disassembly of mistakes! Highly recommended.
