Q: I am looking for a cd set up rom d installation

What's the question? I tried using it on a couple of older computers where the disc drive is kaput, but most successful with a newer pc where the disc drive is fine. When I say older, 10 years and older! Works simply enough if it's compatible.

Q: Is a cd burned by this able to be played in a car? Or the same for a dvd -> a TV

Well I have a old 2004 chevy Impala so my car stereo system doesnt handle anything but cds but I have burned audio cds and they play fine on my car player no dvds though .

Q: Is this compatible for a mac book air ? is the cord included? TIA

I use mine with a MacBook Pro and yes, the USB adapter cord is embedded. You will need an adapter for a MacBook Air, as it has no USB slot.

Q: can it read pc games?

It can read any CD or DVD file.
