This is a really great leash. The color is exceptionally nice and it's very strong. I don't have any worries about my little girl getting away from me with this leash. one small thing I'm not sure big or little but the rubber pieces that cover up some of the stitching kind of bother me because I'm not sure if or when the stitching may fray I wouldn't actually be able to see it so that bothers me a little bit but other than that I would have definitely recommended this leash.

A very COMFORTABLE grip & very sturdy leash. I wish I had known to buy this sooner. The old leash had torn through quite a few layers of skin on my hands whenever my dog tried to bolt after a cat or deer. This leash is so much easier to use! Edit: After about 3mths of use, the foam grip has loosened & goes to one side (see photo). The manufacturer should make the foam grip longer to fit the whole distance of the handle to eliminate this problem. Also, the foam that covers the leash ends came loose within a week (just as many other customers have mentioned) & it slides up & down (see photo). Definitely needs stronger glue in certain areas! Other than these 2 things, I'm still loving this leash. The clip has held up to my 80lb dog who pulls quite hard at times.

These are sturdy leashes with heavy metal clips to attach to a collar or halter. Unfortunately, the thick rubber grip at the top is really awkward in my small hands. It's not really flexible. I like to be able to put my hand through the loop of the leash and then wrap it around my wrist for more control. These are too stiff for that. If my dogs get excited about something and yank the leash, the loop can slip out of my grip. I'll be keeping them for backups, but they won't be my everyday go to leashes.

This is a very well made product. The rope portion is very strong, as is the hardware. But my favorite aspect is the handle. This is extremely comfortable to hold, particularly with a dog that pulls hard on the lease. I really like this product.If you are buying this, you should be aware that the 5 foot length is shorter than normal leashes, which are 6 feet long. The seller is very clear about this and I was aware of it, before buying, but I could see it being a surprise if you were not expecting it. If they ever make a 6' version, I will definitely buy one!

This is one of two leashes that I really liked from amazon. The other one is still in great condition after 2 years, I just got this for the clip, and this feels very similar to that. This leash looks great and came with a free poop bag dispenser. Feels like it is strong enough to survive a large pulling dog. Even though, my dog is a big boy but he is not a puller - I just wanted to mention it in case it helps someone else. However, he does like to run around while chewing on his leash, I will update this if it does not survive that.

Excellent! Excellent! We just got a year old healer. He has successfully eaten 3 leashes and dragged both of my kids down the street when going for a walk. The padded handle allows more control over the dog without causing abrasions to the hands. Our dog is unable to chew through the leash due to it's strength. I'm ordering another one!

I have a very high energy dog. She likes to chew on things and is very strong. This is by far the best leash I have ever had for her. Every kind we have had before (at least 15 and she is only 7 months old) she has chewed through. This is so durable. She hasn’t chewed through it and she has tried. (She likes to take her self for walks and that is usually when she chews through them. Not this one. It is a great length. The handle is very comfortable and soft on my hands. There is a slight flexibility in the leash itself which I believe is why there is a little “give” when she is walking or running. I would 100% recommend this leash. Way stronger than your typical leash and is has a reflector around it which is great for evening walks!

My puppy chewed through his first leash. It was retractable. This leash stands up to his puppy teeth well. It came with a cute puppy poop bag holder shaped like a bone for added convenience. It is shorter than his previous retractable leash but much much stronger. I am pleased with my purchase. And the purple matched his vest harness which was an added bonus. Great value for the money I spent and I have peace of mind knowing my new little family member won't get lost. He is a hound dog...and if he picks up a scent and breaks free he could be lost forever!
