Root Mushroom Farm- White Button Grain Spawn(NOT A GROW KIT)

The grain was tightly packed on arrival and after two days now it's loosened in the still closed bag the mycelium are already white and thriving for my Edibles Guild Class in two days when 20 or so adults with build a blue oyster kit with wetted organic Blue Mountain Hay layered with the mushroom spawn in small plastic laundry baskets that have lots of wide openings for the mushrooms to sprout out. Ive seen a friend do it and now as Leader of the Marin Master Gardener's Edibles Guild my group are all aiming to have fun growing our own!!

I live in Minnesota so I chose these for there outdoor cold climate durability. I planted the spawn across areas of my garden to activate mycelium and so far they have done great. They are thriving in the shady corners and along my wood-chip path ways which is what I would have expected. Yet to see if the mycelium survives the cold winter but I'm hopeful they will!

Disappointed in the coverage of spawn in the grain. All was at the top and none at all in the bottom. Just dry grain in the bottom. Recommend buying elsewhere.

This is my first time buying from this company. The grain spawn came full of mycelium and ready to go. It is inoculating my substrate at this time. So far, real good.

The mycelium was not strongly growing in my spawn bag like I’ve seen in videos online, but I’m hopeful it’ll still grow me some beautiful mushrooms

Hopefully this works, I have purchased spawn many times and this is the poorest and oldest product I have ever received. Doesn't look like the picture.
