W502B Pro for B.M W Motorcycle CarPlay & Android Auto & Dual Bluetooth, 5" Waterproof GPS Navigation Screen for Motorbike, Music Sharing, Intercom, EQ, Light Sensor, Compass, Barometer

I have a 2019 R1250RT, which is the generation before the TFT and runs the removable Navigator VI that mounts in the center dash. I bought the BMW-specific 5in Carpuride with the thought of using it in place of the Navigator VI. The Carpuride BMW adapter mount clicks into the dash receptacle and gets power, just like the Navi VI. So as a replacement for the Navi, it works great. But it turns out I like the data displayed on the Navi VI and the ability to control it from the wonder wheel. So I am keeping the Navi VI and instead have mounted the Carpuride on the handlebars with a ball mount. They ship the Carpuride with hardware for a RAM type mount which I used, although the awesome Tackform ball that I already had is 20mm, so you need an adapter. The USB plug inside the right dash cubby won't power the Carpuride but it works great getting power from the 12v power point on the right fairing with a USB-A adapter. The Carpuride is easily visible in sunlight, the image quality is clear, and it connects reliably to my iPhone, even if the phone is in the panniers. The screen responds to gloves and overall, it works no-brainer like the Apple CarPlay in my cars. I thought about the 7in but the 5in is plenty big enough.

I have a ‘16 GSA with the factory nav mount. You can just mount the Carpuride onto the factory mount (it clips in with nothing else), but I questioned if it would stay on for rough roads.. An easy solution - almost as if they intended this (but it’s not in the manual that I found and the screws they included were too short).. There are 4 screw holes on the Carpuride that align perfectly at least with my ‘16 GS’ factory holes around the nav. The problem is those BMW screws, even if turned around, are too short AND the wrong thread size. Carpuride came with 4 screws of the right diameter but 1) they won’t fit through the bmw nav holes and 2) they’d be too short. Easy solution: 1) Get 4 new screws of the photographed size (5mmx40mm 0.8 pitch thread). 2) Drill the plastic holes in the 2 OEM GPS mount pieces just a bit larger so the new screws will slide through. This is plastic so easily drilled. On the larger piece drill from the rear as the front has these little inset metal pieces (they’ll come out once drilled). 3) Then assemble again, I’d advise a little blue locktite on the threads since it’s a motorcycle and will vibrate (and that will keep the screws from coming loose). Now it’s both bolted to the bike so it can’t fall off - and it’s also in the GPS cradle and locked with your key. So there’s a little theft deterrence too if someone unscrewed those 4 screws. 4) On my year (‘16) GS I found the bars (brake reservoir) would bump the nav at full lock. To prevent, I simply cut the 2 factory zip ties on the wire to leave more slack, then I could slide the entire mount assembly an inch or two further to the left (and more centered) which allowed clearance on both sides at full lock. Tighten your 4 screws and you’re good to go. And the GPS is great - super easy to use, just sync to your phone in seconds and it’s ready with all the normal CarPlay functionality. I also connected a Cardo headset so I could hear things. Highly recommended!

This device perfectly fit on car dashboard. Nice view during sunlight. Very low latency, which is good during navigation. Great bluetooth connectivity, you can change music using the steering buttons as well.

So far this has been working great. I've been using android auto. Also, you can install custom boot screens. Screen is visible in daylight with some reflection. One drawback is AA not switching automatically from day to night. It can be set manually.

Excelente producto a un precio inmejorable

I own another Carpuride (W702BS for BMW motorcycle) which mostly works fine. I bought the W103 Pro as a gift for my wife, but it didn't work very well. The problem was with connection stability, both on the Carpuride<->car Bluetooth link, and on the Carpuride<->phone Bluetooth link. The car Bluetooth link fails to connect about 9 times out of 10. Unpairing and recreating the pair works for that drive, but after the car is turned off and then restarted it doesn't work. I ended up trying the internal FM transmitter to the car radio, which works but there's a short blast of static before the transmitter turns on which was startling. The phone Bluetooth link was also poor. My wife reported several times when the phone refused to connect (Apple CarPlay) and several times when the phone would disconnect during drives. The W103 Pro has other issues. At night the screen auto-dims, but it will randomly increase brightness for a few seconds. This happened on a dark rural road and we had to turn off the display for safety. My W702BS has over-the-air (OTA) updates, connect to Wi-Fi to get the latest firmware. The W103 Pro doesn't have OTA. I emailed Carpuride support in early January 2026 and was told there is no updated firmware.

I love my carpuride👍 believe me I tried 3 other brands and they all either didn't connect right or just flat out didn't work. Trust me, spend a little more money and get a good carpuride unit. Don't waste your time thinking your going to save money by getting a cheaper unit. I will say though that android play is a little more limited in terms of functionality compared to Apple car play, but this is just the way android auto works. No fault of the carpuride.i love mine so far, I live in Florida and have ridden through some very heavy summer time rain and it still works like new.

Monté en quelques minutes, cet autoradio portable CarPlay/Android Auto évite de changer tout l’autoradio d’origine. Le grand écran 10,3" en 1080p est lumineux et réactif ; Waze/Maps, Spotify et les appels sont lisibles d’un coup d’œil. La connexion sans fil à l’iPhone/Android se fait vite au démarrage, et la commande vocale (Siri/Assistant) répond bien pour lancer un itinéraire ou un morceau sans lâcher le volant. Côté pose, les 3 supports fournis permettent de trouver la bonne place (pare-brise, haut du tableau de bord, ou fixation alternative). L’alimentation par prise 12 V est simple ; j’ai rangé le câble le long du joint pour un rendu propre. Pour l’audio, on a le choix : FM, AUX ou Bluetooth vers l’autoradio — le AUX donne le meilleur son, la FM dépanne si votre poste est ancien. Les points à connaître : comme tout écran additionnel, il peut y avoir un peu de reflets en plein soleil (une légère inclinaison limite le souci). Le son dépendra de la méthode de sortie (AUX > BT > FM, en gros). Et gardez en tête que CarPlay/Android Auto utilisent les données du téléphone pour la navigation en temps réel.

Da tempo cercavo una soluzione per portare un po’ di tecnologia moderna nella mia auto d’epoca, senza però rovinarne gli interni o perdere l’autenticità. Lo stereo originale a cassette è ancora perfettamente funzionante, ma ovviamente non ha Bluetooth, CarPlay o la possibilità di ascoltare musica dallo smartphone. Non volevo assolutamente smontare o modificare nulla, quindi ho cercato un sistema che fosse reversibile e non invasivo scegliendo il CARPURIDE W103 Pro. Appena aperta la confezione, ho capito che era quello giusto: il dispositivo è ben costruito, con un grande display IPS da 10,3 pollici molto luminoso e reattivo. Si fissa sul cruscotto con una ventosa, quindi non serve forare o cambiare nulla. Quando partecipo a un raduno o voglio lasciare l’auto completamente originale, posso rimuoverlo in pochi secondi. La cosa più bella è che sono riuscito a collegarlo all’impianto audio originale dell’auto: ho semplicemente aggiunto un jack da 3,5 mm ai cavi esistenti, e adesso tutto il suono passa dagli altoparlanti dell’epoca. In questo modo ho mantenuto l’impianto storico, ma con la funzionalità di un sistema moderno. Con il CarPlay wireless posso usare Google Maps, Spotify, le chiamate e i messaggi direttamente dal grande schermo, tutto in sicurezza, senza dover toccare il telefono. Un altro aspetto che mi piace è che si può personalizzare il logo d’avvio, quindi quando accendo il dispositivo posso far apparire il logo della mia auto.
