7-gallon seems to work well with a 10-gallon bag
I bought the supposedly "7-gallon" version. A Costco 10-gallon trash bag fits it well, i.e. a little of the bag hangs over the outside so that the bag doesn't fall into it, and the bag fills the space well. What more is there to say about a trash "can"? It holds trash. I like that isn't absolutely rigid, like some.

Decent bucket. Use it for water changes for my fish tanks.
It was cheap that’s the main reason I bought it. Is deep enough to carry 4ish gallons of water more or less comfortably and if you got some muscle or a friend is pretty easy to lift and dump the water in a tank even if it’s tall just be careful not to spill if you use this for this purpose as it’s likely to do so with only yourself. Overall super easy to clean. Hasn’t picked up a fishy odor as far as I can tell but I do make sure to power rinse it with HOT water cuz I’m grossed out by the fish poop. Overall 4 stars just wish it had some handles
