Anthony's Organic Wheatgrass Powder, 8 oz, Grown in USA, Whole Leaf, Gluten Free, Non GMO

At first I thought it might be a bit on the expensive side for the amount that you get (I'm new to this wheatgrass thing) but then after getting the pack and using it for awhile I realized that "a little kinda goes a long way". This one pack lasted me quite some time, of daily use in shakes. It also looks nice and consistent, pure, well made, well packaged, seems very into making the best product possible product, testing, non-gmo, all that good stuff. As far as the taste goes; it literally tastes like hay, or dried lawn clippings. And when you throw it in a shake, such as a blueberry and protein powder shake for example, you WILL notice that taste and smell. But that's to be expected, and it's not completely over powering and terrible; you just have to keep in mind as you drink it how healthy it's alleged to be for you. ;) I will be buying more as soon as I post this review. =)

I've ordered this multiple times, never had a problem. The bag is slightly annoying, especially when you get towards the bottom, however there's a simple solution for that... just put it into one of those fancy plastic ice cream jars with the screw top lid (or use a wide mouth mason jar if you don't like plastic).

My mother was the health food type when I was a kid in the 1970s and I remember hearing wheatgrass juice is very good for you. My current research tells me it's high in nutrients, and 70% chlorophyll which is an antioxidant and may help with inflammation. Today I'm a post menopausal woman on HRT, and I'm doing all the things to optimize my health, so I decided to add this to the mix. Nice alternative to the juice form, low heat drying to preserve nutrients, which is good. These days I'm taking it like a shot with a bit of psyllium fiber in a small glass of grapefruit juice. Quick mix with a frother, and I down it like a shot. That why I don't have to care what it tastes like. It's very green, as it should be, mild grasslike flavor, and just one ingredient - wheatgrass. No fillers. Not much of an aroma. Can't tell you yet what it's doing for my health, but I'm glad to be taking it, and I'm building this up to a nightly routine before bed. I'm not planning to add it to a smoothy because I think the slightly grassy flavor and intense green would overwhelm my blueberry smoothie. But taking it as a shot solves that issue. Just get it over with, one and done, and chase it with a glass of water or swig of juice. And bonus for me, wheatgrass is gluten free because it is not the part of the wheat plant that contains the gluten. Nice wellness habit.

i should’ve read the description more carefully - this still has the wheatgrass fiber which does not dissolve in water. so its not very pleasant to drink compared to a juice powder but still got a good kick of energy and overall good vibez. would probably be better in a smoothie than just straight water

Good product only 50 cents per serving even if you double up thats $1 each which these days is nothing. People pay $5+ for a cup of coffee and don't blink. I mix it in water and chug it. You can also mix it in coffee, yogurt or smoothies. It does tend to clump a bit and it'd sometimes hard to totally dissolve it but I don't mind the taste. Seems like it's having a positive impact.

Tastes a little bit sweet - easy to throw on food or in your water. Happy with the purchase.

This is a quality product and I will probably continue to buy. However, bag says 28 servings of 1 TBS. I do not know what tablespoon they were using, but, even doing flat scoops non- compacted, will not provide you with 28 tablespoons. This is a very small bag of wheatgrass and only lasts me 2 weeks or so.
