Can an adapter and propane tank be used with this burner?

I'm not 100% sure but I think it should, provided the adapter is for this kind of Coleman propane stove. Personally, I use a refill adapter to refill my One-LB propane bottles from the 20-LB BBQ propane tank. I like the ease of the 1-LB bottles. The 20-LB tanks are too bulky for camping trips. Cheerios.

What type of connector do I need for this Coleman Stove? I see many types but do not know which one to buy

it comes with the connector. you don't need to worry about that as long as you buy the small, green, one-use propane canisters.

Which carry case fits this stove ?

Coleman Part# 2000004431. That case will fit the stove AND can hold Two propane bottles. It's a nice case, keeps your stove looking like new plus carrying the bottles.

What are the dimensions of cooking surface when stove is open for cooking grill.

If its 13.7 deep closed...how can it be 10" deep when opened? Probably more like 15 inches deep when open!
