Extremely comfortable.
I wear these around the house as slippers. Most house slippers are too thick and cushioned, making my feet quite hot and sweaty. These shoes allow my feet to breath, while also being comfortable. The downside is of course that they...have less cushioning. This is good for me, but may not be for everyone. They are especially comfortable once they break in. I bought my normal shoe size and they fit a little snug when first purchased, but they very quickly break in and fit nicely. I'd say it's like wearing a thick soled sock.

I know Kung Fu.
Iโve had these kind of shoes all my life. Seeing Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan wearing them. They were my idols. This brand is very good quality compared to what Iโve always gotten. I love them around the house on my hard wood floors or tiled kitchen. They can be slippery but not much. I intentionally like to run & slide around my wood floor hallway. The fit is tight at the toes and I found them too short up my heel where they slip off when I step. All other ones Iโve had never had this issue. I mean they were always tight when I first get them but then stretch out to fit perfect. The heel part Iโve never had a problem. This is a first. With that said, obviously Iโll need them to stay on when I challenge an entire judo school or need to kick trouble making gangsters out of my uncleโs restaurant. Then of course if I run into Stoney Egg and the Great Bear.

House shoes
I bought the wrong size. But my neighbor loves them.

Didn't fit
One shoe was bigger than the other.

very traditional
I got these to use in my tai chi class. They can be a bit slippery at first on linoleum, but after a few uses they are fine. I gave them a wash and dry to shrink them ever so slightly and that improved the fit. Wearing them makes me feel more martial and puts me in the mind-space to do my forms. The quality is high and the color fast. If you want cotton stitched soles, these are a good choice.

too small in toe area
I've ordered other brands' with same size, these are tight in toe area. I would recommend some other brand. Length of show seems correct, just at toe end it is too tapered in height, maybe. ADDED LATER: Nope, I got the size bigger, still no room inside for toes. Unless you have unrealistically flat toes, don't get these.

Light weight, comfortable, great for Tai Chi practitioners.

Almost Like It Was Designed For A Short Life
These are not the same as they used to be, that is they have a short life span. My previous shoes of the same design: cotton soles, wore well and lasted well over a year through twice weekly workouts of Tai Chi and Kung Fu sessions, as well as daily house shoes. These shoes never left the house, basically used as house slippers, and were worn through in less than 6 months. They were very comfortable and fit well, but I will not buy another pair like this due to the short life span.
