Organic Raw Ashwagandha Powder - 250grams

I noticed the difference to my overall wellbeing quickly such is the quality of this product.

This is fantastic value for money. I took ashwagandha a few years ago in capsule form when I was suffering badly for M E and PTSD and I started to get better, I recently found that this powder could be purchased loose and added to smoothies etc, as only a small amount is required this will last for months and is easy to use and very calming to ease stress and anxiety. I would not hesitate to recommend ashwagandha to anyone bothered with their nerves as it's a natural product and helps to control high cortisol which for me also causes a large belly as apparently fat deposits in the stomach due to high cortisol. I also experience a lot of upper back, neck and shoulder tension ( think of the saying "the weight of the world on your shoulders ") it's been very therapeutic for me in the past and I look forward to the same benefits again.

It tastes chalky and I don't really know wha to compare it with of it's good or not as I tried this for the first time. I did notice how it made me calm and I had a good night's sleep but because of the weird taste I forgot to make the drink .. I guess I should restart taking it

I put a small amount of this in my herbal tea and it helps me relax and sleep and helps me cope with less sleep.

Amazing to bring down cortisol levels. Not sure if it's just me but it works really fast. The flavour is disgusting but that's to be expected, it's not supposed to be a sweet treat. I heat up a glass of hemp 'milk' that is naturally slightly sweet in taste and mix up the ashwagandha with that. Nice chill drink. Helps to fall asleep as well if taken before bed. Just a word of unsolicited advice - don't forget to also deal with your stress in a more productive way than just supressing it's roots with suplements.

Nice product use it for tea and smoothies works well for better health

No idea if it works or not but I am using it with my porrige together with other stuff like colagen, seads etc I got used to it and eat it a few times a week. No noticable difference in my health but for sure makes a good placebo - I feel great by using something that is meant to be healthy lol

I took a teaspoon of this daily and didn't really notice any difference at all. The level of standardization for Withanolides (the active constituent) is important when taking Ashwaghanda. 5% doesn't really mean anything if the powder is not standardized so that you know exactly how many mg of withanolides you are getting per weighted dose. In other words you might be needing to take 5-6 grammes, or even more, of this powder and still be getting only a tiny amount of withanolides. Quality products will state this information very clearly on their labelling. This product has no information on actual received dosage of withanolides per recommended dose, for example. The powder is otherwise quite unpalatable, and better disguised with something else. This didn't really bother me as it is a natural root powder. It clogs together and doesn't dissolve well unless you whizz it up in a smoothie. I've bought another product since and the difference in taste, clarity of dosage and price ratio to amount is almost incomparable. This product might suit some, but I wouldn't buy it again.
