Half Caff Organic Espresso Pods, Nespresso Original, 10 Pods

i think I have a new favorite coffee pod for my Nespresso original! I was a little skeptical about trying a Half Caff coffee, never thought it could be robust or flavorful. But boy was I wrong. With literally half the amount of caffeine as a regular brew, this coffee tastes as wonderful (if not more so) than my go-to brand. I am delighted to have discovered the Cru Kafe company and I plan to try some of their other coffee pods. Highly recommended.

Full of beautiful flavor! Every Cru Kafe I’ve tried has been pleasing to my taste buds, including the half decaf and the decaf. I like to taste my espresso more than the cream. These have a notable and distinctive espresso flavor that is far better than many popular coffee shops I’ve been too. I just love making these at home. The pods fit perfectly in my ninja nesspresso and the pods are full enough to run two shots in one pod, which I often do. These absolutely no leaks, breaks or dents to the pods and packaging every time I order. They always arrive fairly quickly. Had one unexpected delay possibly due to weather. For half decaf pods, the caffeine level is sometimes a bit much for me but nothing I can’t work with. I get caffeine anxiety and I do notice it happens much less with these than with the full caffeine pods. I don’t know about the validity of the organic content because I haven’t investigated it yet. As far as the value…I usually only get Cru Kafe when they are running deals because they are currently about 10 dollars more for 50, than the other leading brands. With my big family, that extra 10 is just not feasible, so I use other brands but always come back to these when they have good deals.

We love this coffee! Because of Cru’s organic cofffeee pods that are budget friendly my daughter wants a nespresso machine FOR these pods!

Half caffeine is hard to find especially when you need it compatible with the original line nespresso maker. Bought many times

The Cafe Cru Decaf is excellent... the Half Caff, eww NO! Weird taste and weak. All of the capsules, in the package I received, had no gas in them and were collapsed on the foil tops. Will not repurchase. Will make my own half-caff coffees with one "go-go" espresso and one decaf... better tasting!

Great nespresso pods at an even better price

Many of capsules don’t have enough air in them to create enough pressure for the machine to properly puncture the foil which means that the water cannot properly go through the pod to brew a shot of espresso. I added a photo of one of the properly inflated pods next to one of the ones that won’t work correctly for the machine. Each boss is about 2/3 full of underfilled pods. I wouldn’t buy these unless you are committed to stabbing a bunch of holes in each pod with a toothpick before each use. And even then it’s slow because that allows bits of the coffee grounds themselves to start to block the hole. Super disappointed. They also don’t taste super great.
