For any Audeze Maxwell owners, you know exactly how heavy these are. So it's common for people to look for any third-party accessories or aftermarket modifications to make it comfortable. In that manner, I think SOULWIT has done a great job. For me, personally, I didn't find the stock Maxwells to be uncomfortable, yet, I felt SOULWIT's headband was doing a better job distributing the weight over my head without it feeling like it was constantly weighing me down. In the most intense and heated moments in games, I didn't even think about the near-600g of Maxwell sitting on my head - like as if it wasn't even there. The headband is wide enough to distribute the weight evenly on top of my head while being thick enough so that it could withstand holding the headset up without deforming.As for the headband itself, it's made out of good silicone material that's smooth to the touch. More specifically, it's not the type of silicone that sticks to your hair or tangles them up, and you can rest easy knowing these won't be trying to pull your hair out. I also liked the fact that it has 4 sets of holes on each side, meaning you have more options for adjustment. At first, I tried using them at a symmetrical position, but I found an asymmetrical position to be more comfortable for my liking, so the fact that you have that flexibility was nice. Speaking of headband positioning, I have the Maxwells with the newer "flat-style" pegs (instead of the "screw-based" pegs), and I found them to accommodate the SOULWIT headband without issues. Even if you have the older "screw-based" Maxwells, SOULWIT includes a mini screwdriver for seamless installation, so you're covered.Ultimately, whether you're looking to replace the stock leather headband that's stretched out at the pegs, or keep the stock one pristine while increasing functionality and comfort, or even just to spice-up the look of your Maxwells, you've got an excellent alternative here from SOULWIT. As far as I've seen, I have nothing bad to say about these headbands, and the fact that they're priced competitively against other options in the market means SOULWIT has an excellent product here. Great alternative for something a bit grippier. Changing it doesn't have to be nearly as complicated as it appears in the instructions. You can simply press the headband over the screws without the need to remove them. The leather strap works the same way.

This silicone band it a great addition to your Maxwell headphones. It is way more grippy than the original leather band and stays put on your head. It also has additional sizing with four adjustment holes vs the three in the original band. Very easy to adjust and doesn’t require removing the screw that the band is pushed over. Really awesome addition to an already amazing set of cans.

Now, I don't want to say this is the perfect replacement for the stock strap, for one single reason. The holes are located in slightly different locations than they are on the OEM strap. If your OEM strap fit perfectly, but broke or wore out and you need a new one.. This might not fit on you perfectly.For me, though? I had the opposite problem. None of the sizes on the stock strap fit quite perfectly.. But these, with their very slight difference, made for a perfect fit. And since there are 4 options, it makes it more likely that this will have a fit that suits you.The strap itself is really nice quality. It's thick, and durable. The holes are a little tighter than the OEM strap, absolutely requiring you to unscrew the screws (Which you should do anyway with stock, but you CAN squeeze it through, with enough force.). Fortunately, the kit also comes with a perfect little screwdriver for doing just that. It's one of those screwdrivers where the very end bit swivels, making it super easy to use. After adjusting my strap to fit me, I've already gone and used the screwdriver for other things you need a small phillips head for. It's a really nice little edition- and it's even magnetic (though it's rather weak since the screwdriver is so small).Overall everything I'd hope for in a strap is here. While it might not be the perfect replacement for everyone, for me getting this strap wasn't just a replacement, it was an upgrade. Maxwells are super heavy headphones, and getting a good fit is important. This allowed me to do that in a way that the stock strap never could, and for that I adore it.
