I bought Yanagiba. it is very sharp. but started rusting after few uses. so definitely not made of steel. I bought it for cutting coconut.

The knife is just perfect. I love it. Its sharp edge is one sided another side is flat
This knife is perfect and my mother loves it who never used to love cutting vegetables with knives. And due to the uneven surface vegetables don't stick to it while cutting. It cuts by it's own weight and the cuts are really clean, be it vegetables be it meat. Highly recommended.The only downside is that it needs to come with a proper guard that's it. It came with a mountboard covering only.
