I've had several coffee grinders over the years, including big names like KitchenAid. I don't drink coffee, but I cook and need to grind spices. All of my previous devices have been disappointments. They only partially grind the spices and often there is no seal between the lid and the bowl, so the truly finely ground material ends up all over the inside of the lid and outside of the bowl. I saw this being used by a YouTube chef (Jules Cooking) and he is clearly in the Michelin skill echelon, so I thought I would try it out. It's by far the best spice grinder I've had. My prior devices would just take Mexican cinnamon and break it into shards that would fly around the bowl like sticks in a tornado. The Shardor made a pretty good grind after 30 seconds, and an excellent grind in 1 minute. My prior grinders are now in the garbage.

I purchased this grinder solely to grind whole cloves to make tea. Whole cloves make the best tea with added high quality (1 tsp) of honey. Clove tea is great and even better when you slightly grind the cloves. This grinder literally does the job in a matter of seconds. I like that it comes with two optional grinder cups. One for dry and one for fresh. I haven’t used the fresh option yet but I anticipate it will be just as great as the dry option. I will use it for the cilantro and fresh garlic the next time I make guacamole. This is a great asset to add to your kitchen necessities.

It grinds fine for some spices but when I ground cinnamon the blade came loose. I wanted to fix it simply but I can't find a way to contact support. Maybe I can fix myself or they can send another single blade. Does it say not to grind cinnamon? Seems like it shouldn't have come loose from that.

It is an excellent grinder. Does a really good job at grinding my seasonings and is convenient to use. However, two big issues. It's not super powerful so if you put something hard in it might jam the blade, just make sure there's nothing weirdly positioned in the grinder. Issue #2: the seal between the plastic cover and the grinder cup is not good so dust gets flung all over the inside of the grinder. It's a really good grinder otherwise, it grinds pretty fast and is super quiet while being at a reasonable price, just be prepared for a lot of cleanup when dry grinding.

Purchased primarily to do small coffee expresso grinds for morning shots. For my needs the grinder works perfectly and the price was right. I love the fact the grinder is much quieter than my previous one, has timed settings so coarser grinds are also a possibility, clean up is a breeze, and that it's a "no hands" grinder. (By that I mean I can just push the start button and don't have to hold the grinder while it's operating.) I have not used the grinder for spices yet but feel confident that it would also do that job well, albeit in small quantities. In sum, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and it deserves every star of my 5 star rating.

Impressed with the quality of this coffee bean grinder, especially for the price. I have used it several times grinding coffee with even sized grinds. It is adjustable to size of grinds you prefer, and I like it ground fine. It is extremely quiet which is important since I live with those who work nights and sleep during the day. It is efficient. I have filled the grinding cup to max recommendation and the beans are ground in 20 seconds or less. It has a separate cup with blades for grinding spices. I am excited to grind spices in the near future.

I am so very pleased with this coffee grinder. I purchased the one that does coffee and a separatecontainer for wet spices. Absolutely love it. Its not real noisy, it has different times on the dial fromCoarse to very fine. Its made very well and also looks good. Easy to clean. I expect to have this a longwhile and highly recommend it.
