TROUBLESHOOT AND DON'T TRAVEL
JULY 25, 2025 -- What a great solution for my small workstation!! Fair warning: Don't give up. If it doesn't pair right away, spend time troubleshooting. I couldn't get it to pair for a couple days. Couldn't figure out why. Tried pairing it with my hubby's laptop and it connected immediately. I finally got it to pair with mine but I'm not sure which step I took did the trick. I updated all the drivers and did a cold boot. That seems to be when it decided to cooperate. SUPER FRAGILE!!! The whole reason I had to buy a new one is becs the one I had got cracked, even in a padded case. So, not really recommended for travel. So I'll end up buying another one to go on our 2nd home so that I won't need to haul this one back and forth. I'm really happy with this. AUG 15, 3025 UPDATE -- As stated above. I did buy one for our 2nd home. No more schlepping and running the risk of breakage. BUT. A new problem has come to light. The cords are super short. Here in our 2nd home (tiny. 320 sqft), there is only one way to fit it onto the table I use for work. I have to stretch the HDMI cord across the top of my laptop and turn the monitor more or less sideways to get the cord to reach. If i turn it more than you see in the video, it puts too much tension on the cord and compromises the connection. The power cord is also short, but an extension cord took care of that. I'm leaving my rating at 5 stars, but I'm a tiny bit less in love than before. But only a tiny bit.

Don't buy this
The display itself is fine for something portable but it constantly disconnects and flickers until I unplug and plug in the usb c or the hdmi cable

Inexpensive solution
I’ve wanted a second monitor for a few years. I couldn’t resist the price. It’s perfect for small groups where a projector is overkill. I got tired of turning my laptop screen. It’s basically plug and play. I took longer to find the setting on my computer to switch between mirrored image and second screen. It is lightweight and clear.

Adjusting screen resolution is not the easiest thing, but it works really well as intended. Slim, light weight, easy to carry along.
